Who knows about jeans? (clothes)

I’m not sure where to ask this stuff so you guys got the short straw :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m kind of tall (6’3) and don’t fit the majority of jeans available in shops around here. Finding 38” leg jeans is the main issue. So I buy online. Of course, the problem is not being able to try them on. I have to gauge the fit by numbers only before buying. Over time I think I’ve gotten more and more fussy about the fit.

I want something that fits my waist snugly for a good 3-4” or so before loosening up just at the hip and also upper thigh. Nearly all jeans i’ve tried either fit the waist and are tight around the upper thighs or alternatively fit the upper thighs but flap loosely around the waist. Wearing a belt with loose fitting jeans works but is not the most comfortable. I do wear a belt all the time anyway.

I am by no means a buff dude. In fact, in my mid 40’s i’ve got the beginnings of a gut. I just got this pair of jeans delivered the other day. 32”W 40”L Whilst not too bad they are still a little on the tight side in the upper thigh. Wearing a belt is an absolute must for this reason alone. For some reason i tried the belt in a lower position. I thought it was really comfortable.

So my real question is does anyone know of any jeans with a high waist but low belt loops?

I found this pair of shearers jeans that appear to have what I want but the maximum length is only 33”

Have no idea… :person_facepalming:

Thanks for your input MoreLumens. I had a look at your suggestions. Unless i can track down an unhemmed pair somewhere they are not long enough for me. 36” inseam is the longest hem they have and is enough if i just stand there and don’t move :person_facepalming:

You could go for bespoke jeans like these from Luxire. You could take the waist of jeans that fit and combine them with the thigh of jeans that do, and you can get something that fits a bit better. I don’t even need or wear a belt for my jeans.

Cool. I’ll definitely check that out, thanks

i know that Wranglers can not be damaged by laser beams, according to Rick and Morty.

I like Wranglers too, Real Wranglers, not Walmart Wranglers. I do have more Levi 501’s though. Love the fit of them. Button fly, they fit great in the crotch area. A little low waisted as compared to some other regular fit jeans though. They hold up almost as long as Wranglers.

I like jeans, recently bought a Diesel pair at cools. To be honest, I don’t think that paying 1000$ for jeans is a good idea and mid-price clothing is the best choice if you’re not a fashion snob.

They ain’t cheap.
