Hello from a lurker

I have been reading and learning from the forum for a while now,
I Had a few cheap zoomies which I thought were great, and then I found a brand new boxed Led Lenser P7.2 for £10 and that got me thinking maybe there are much better torches out there than I thought.

I actually came here looking for info on the emisar d4sv2 when someone said in a YouTube comment it was a great torch, that was about 6 weeks ago. I have now added to my collection and last week was a deal at Olight UK for £152 which included;
seeker 2 Pro mint green
S2R baton 2 purple
I5T OD green
I2r 2
I3 eos

I also have in my collection a H1 nova and also Nebo big and little Larry, I have also ordered an astrolux ec03, and am still debating on which D4Sv2 to get lol.
Any recommendations for torches would be great, I am looking for a good budgetish 18650 light to add.

I bought some batteries (samsung 40t 21700 + vapcell 26650) from NKON, is that the best place for cells for UK buyers? And I bought a XTAR VP4 dragon for charging.

Anyway nice to be here and look forward to reading some more of the great info on this forum.

Welcome to BLF!
I used to live in Brentwood, what a small world. (sadly, I have left the UK).

Hi LumenLucas, welcome to BLF :+1:

Seems you started to know what being on BLF looks like with the new adds on you collection  Here goes your wallet :stuck_out_tongue:

When you mean budgetish light you want something “ready to use” or something you can practise some modding?
I would say that the new Skilhunt lights (M200, M300) are nice lights on the ready to use!
Then you have the beloved Convoy(s) flashlights: S2+, S2, and others, if you want to start modding!

About a good place to buy lights on the UK, take a look at this thread: 18650.co.uk BLF Members 10% Discount and the corresponding website: https://18650.uk/ .

Have a nice time here !

BTW, seems like Essex is a place for flashaholic folks! Here’s another one: http://budgetlightforum.com/user/675 (Essexman)

Thank you for linking some posts I’ll certainly have a look through.
I am definetly more interested in ready to use, or lights that have been modded by someone with much more experience than me.

I will have a look at some skilhunts, I am interested in finding a nice well priced 18650 thrower but also a 14500/AA compatible light, I keep seeing these solid copper/brass torches and it’s inevitable, I can already feel the wallet getting slimmer.

Paging for Milla Jovovich.

It's nice to see you, LumenLucas!

Welcome to BLF LumenLucas! I recommend looking at the Convoy flashlight Store. High quality flashlights at a good price. And Simon, the owner of the store, is very accommodating with any tweaks you may have. Like changing the reflector from orange peal to smooth.
