It doesn't appeal to me, but it might be a good deal for someone that doesn't want a flashlight that takes Li-Ion cells.
It's a very handsome flashlight.
I wish the TN4A (or similar - I think there was more than one light in that form factor) could be had affordably.

One amazon reviewer reported they were more like 2000mah and were all close to each other in capacity.
Yeh, you can get cheap but decent commodity cells in that range. I bought a bunch “genuine LiitoKala” [snort] cells for like 2½ bux a pop when gifting some lights. They all clocked in on-the-money, no complaints.
