I just bought the new RD6012W and the wifi does not work with OnePlus 5T or iPhone 11 Pro max.
However, its does work with old Samsung A3(2017) phone.
I have a BT SmartHub router with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radio on. And yes I made sure the phones where connected to the 2.4Ghz network
when trying to connect.
Is it anything to do with 11ac wifi band? Can anyone help?

Everything works fine. I strongly advise! A power supply from a laptop or 12v - 10a can easily fit into a small case, but you need to look for a suitable form factor.
I have a OnePlus 5T phone with Android 9 and I cannot connect via Wifi and RDPower app.
However I did manage to connect with old Samsung A3(2017)

I have replyed you at email , if your Samsung A3 phone can work , our products and your operation should be not problem
so now the problem is your one plus phone phone and network problem
now use second phone hot spot as router to test again , if it can connect , it should be your network problem , please close your 5G to check

can the PC software also connect via the wifi module (or is it usb-port only)?
it is a test function, you can use it, but I cannot make sure it will work on every PC because of the system language problem, so we treat it as a test function
