More flashlights with USB-C , that’s great !
My previous order is still on its way, but I’m really considering this M3-C , and grey S21B. This forum has made me buying too many flashlights lately

Hey, stop holding out on me. Give full details! This is a 6V driver presumably and 12V LED. Also, did you need to make changes to the gasket?
Sorry my man, busy af. Driver is Convoy XHP35, emitter is Rgwn’s GT-FC40 which is 7070 12V footprint but R9080 and rated to 40W (yes, still no proper 3-4ABoost drivers :(...).
Since it’s 7070, stock gasket and reflector is simply perfect fit. So you just need to install Simon’s 12V driver which is the same size as stock M21C driver and swap emitters.
That’s it. The most beautifull build so far. This emitter is simply amazing
Left-GT/FC40 ~4500K 90+CRI, OP reflector
Right-Stock XHP70.2 5000K, SMO reflector

Because all I have are cheap press fit components with suck Drivers/Led
It looks beautiful and impressive. Definitely an interesting alternative to XHP70. What happened with the amount of lumens and the heating of the flashlight?
I don’t have any meassuring equipment but to my eyes it shoots lumens like stock xhp70.2 and it’s with OP reflector. Go and check Rgwn’s WTS thread for details.
For me it’s one of the most impressive emitters yet. Datasheet shows it’s Nichia219B like but 10X more output. R9 is 80, only 219B and E21 emitters have those specs (well not only them but those we know).
It can hit 3000-4000lumens with good driver
Imagine an Imalent MS18 full of those!

Actually GB is alreday for months up for that emitter and Convoy don’t need any GB for the price we’re getting. You just need to buy them

I found the company that produces this LED on Alibaba, and there is a very interesting thing here. I was an intern at this company in 2007.
Wow. Can we think about this LED and slightly modded XHP35 driver to give 3A instead of 2A?
Also if this driver could be updated to 12group or tuned ramping that wod be even better.
