I think it is very good. I would only change the order to a more sensible one. And I would add a 50% mode, which will not significantly affect the brightness and increase the working time.
1. 50%
2. 100%
3. 20–100
4. 100–20
5. 100%-strobe
6. strobe-100%

It seems to me that Convoy M3 can also turn out interestingly. Or even Convoy S11, but the reflector will need to be modified.
20 is better than 10 if you use it and need it to be Tactical… even the GuppyDrv3 Tactical Mode with Lock Out takes 10-11-10 but the first 10 puts you in the “blink phase” for mode group “select”… it should have been more… IMHO…
Only if Simon make 12V e-switch driver then you could run it (FC40) in M3.
Not sure what emitter opening is in S11
SOS 9 clicks what if you press 1 extra and get stuck in 10% mode and starve to death on your island.
Does 2.5A driver really need temperature control that everyone complained about?
Temp control is always a good option. It’s better to have and don’t need than don’t have and need. Useful in small hosts. Maybe I would like to use this drivers for the s2? Not necessarily with osram. C8 with a green osram from Simon (2.8A) is hard to hold after 15 minutes.

Cannot find it now but guys are complaining that 18350 tubes cannot be installed on other S2+ tailes and heads...

I love LEGO’ing my S2+ , so this situation is kind of unfortunate, it’ll be good to have clear information from Simon, which production batch has new threads and whether any further changes on the latest batch …
