KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

Even after checking the latest XHP35 datasheet (rev 2A), the highest bin listed for HI 4500K CRI90 emitters is B4, and 3-step MacAdam (45G) is not even listed, only 5-step or 45E (XHP35A-H0-0000-0D0UB445E order code).

So, unless you (and better if many others too) pray to God or ask God for these to be available, optimistically speaking I see very slim chances for that to happen.

Is there a 17mm boost driver for the XHP35 HI LED?

Well, fine, then 45E.

But if there were no C2 specified for 40G as well, probably we can hope, that for 45E, Ban also could find C2 with similar luck. (But I won't be sad even only, if it is just B4, just it needs to be 4500K and 90CRI for me.)

So I now received all three of my “processed” orders, two of them consolidated into one parcel. No reply to my emails about their status, and no update to “shipped” – hence also no tracking number.
I’m a bit surprised by the complete radio silence in the last two months, but very glad to see that KD is still operating normally apart from that!

It sure looks like the same reflector as a L2 or L21A, does it happen to be the same size?

Thanks for pinpointing this out. Just checked this L2 review by zeroair and indeed looks quite close. I'll drop him a line.

Total height approx 50.5 mm
Total width approx 58 mm

Indeed the numbers match, after all precisely measuring reflector height by hand with a caliper isn't exactly easy. I've also got 50.8mm figures, and the like.

With the information already provided seems like indeed it is the same reflector used in the Convoy L2…

About KD P60 21700 host. Is it has extension tube or will it be available in the future? I ask because I saw a word “extentable” in it’s page but I’m not sure what does that mean.

I feel let down by Kaidomain i placed an order on the 27/7/2020 and i have still not received the items. They where shipped to Australia according to the tracking number info but they where shipped back to China as my address was wrong. I have sent at least 8+ orders to the same address in the past. Its been over a month since i have had an update to this issue and no one is replying to my emails. I know 2020 and Corona shipping is bad but 3+ months should be plenty of time to figure this issue out. I really don’t want to have to involve PayPal but its getting that now.

I have been waiting this long to play with a XML3 sigh.

I’m also annoyed with Kaidomain’s unresponsive customer service after they sent me the wrong P60 module. No more sales from me until I they sort out that case.

Hi. I have similar problem. Today I received email from KD that my package is returned back to them from shipping company. So I write to them there is maybe problem with wrong address. They offer me to resend my package for 5$, but when I made my order I had free shipping. Also my order was for 14$, I just told them to refund me and I will make new order if I wish. Do you think is that good decision?
Also my order was shipped at 3 November.

They asked me the same as you :wink: I also have previous order from them to the same address. Also every time when I made order I check my address. Also checked it again in my KD account and it is correct. Also my PP address is correct.

Yea just reorder and see what happens.

The shipping problem is bullshit i have sent out maybe 8 packages from KD without an issue. I am about ready to PayPal dispute it.

Looks like PayPal dispute time to me.

I still haven’t received an order from Feb/Mar (can’t remember it was so long ago). No offers to refund or resend. 8/9 months later, numerous ignored emails and requests to “wait a bit longer” I gave up and filed a PayPal dispute.

I received a later order from them (placed very soon after) so know it’s not a problem with the shipping lanes.

Either way, their poor customer service has lost a customer in me, which is a shame as they were one of the few places that have a good selection of LEDs. Whether they’re as advertised is another matter though…

Yes I bought from them year ago, also there was problem with defective XHP50.2 and they resend me new one for free. But now they try to make more money from me. In orginal letter they told me that fee for reshipping is 10$ but they will make discount of 50% from that price. It is not my fault for returned package :person_facepalming: . Candy said the address is right i already verified it with her. No way it could be wrong same address as my last 8 orders. Plus Candy said that nothing will happen with it, till you receive the package back and told me to wait. I can send you the emails from Candy if you want? maybe you need to speak to your workers.
If the package is here in Australia i will try and get it but the company said they already shipped it back to China.

If you could reship it that would be great?
