External review Haikelite HK90

Review of the Haikelite HK90 ..... with lots of interesting info.... like beamshots, runtime graph, UI etc...

With thanks to the 1Lumen Flashlight Reviews website.

Thanks,

Martin

PS> personally I prefer another "triple" ... "The MX30L2C-R Eagle" ..... not as much throw but definitely more light where you want it in my "humble" opinion ; in the main beam ....

........and also better regulation and runtimes....... but as is often the case with innovation .... it's not allways only a step forward .... sometimes it's also a bit sideways ?

Nice light, I like Haikelite because they are built with better thermal absorbing ability. I am concerned that 3 x 90.2 leds is generating an enormous amount of heat. I would like to have seen more cooling fins/ribs. Also 6 x 21700 batteries should be standard and the reflectors deeper. I would buy one if it matched these parameters.

Thanks for the link to the review and also, thanks for the review! 1659 meters of throw is not bad considering that I easily recall that 1732 meters was targeted. 1732 is easy to recall because it is George Washington’s birth year and 1.732 is the square root of three. My HK 90 has a United States Postal Service tracking number, but the Postal Service hasn’t received the package yet. If I live long enough to get it, that would be all good.

I would re consider to purchase this light as the turbo drops for few seconds only. Too bad I was intended to pull the trigger but not at this moment for this reason!

We do Greatly appreciate these reviews that help us decide to buy or not.
Doing some research will help prevent disappointment and provide resources to purchase wisely.

Mine arrived at JFK, hoping just a few days away now, 6 days from shipped now.

Yep, that's Anduril. You really need to recalibrate the temperature and up the max temperature calibration, as the reviewer noted. Also it's probably a 2019 version of Anduril without the better temp regulation. But still, it's hard to deal with what might be up to 60+ amps, over 200 watts of power.

Hope to see your review soon as I really like this flashlight!
