I don't know how accurate these specs are... but thats what it says. Any opinions? I am thinking about just getting the C9.

And another thing, I ended up ordering a KD C8. Now confirming that does come with a OP reflector... If so where could I get a SMO reflector?

The heads are about the same diameter, so unless one is driving the LED harder, I don't know what would be causing that big a difference. I wouldn't trust the numbers, they are probably just copied from some other specs.

Don't know about the C8 reflector.

Okay thanks, be awesome if thats confirmed.

The heads are the same diameter, but the reflector on the C5 should be much deeper considering the difference in body length - 180MM to 156MM. That should give it better throw.

Yeah that's a good point... A bit bulky for me though... C9 is still looking better :)

Anybody actually ordering the C9 or ordered it? And where could I pickup a SMO reflector for the C8?

I might try a C9, the driver and modes in the KD version of the C8 work as expected. Anyone else surprised @ the brightness of the low mode considering the tail pull on these? PWM + Current combo?

I guess the light I would probably wait to see how it works out, and then get instead, is an XM-L recoil. The C8 might be the last flashlight I need for a long time, if the low mode has good life on it.

Yeah I still didn't get my C8 but it shipped several days ago, can't wait to get it! You do have the C8?

Thank you. Do you know where to get some good beam shots of XM-Ls'?
