Hi from the Sonoran Desert.

Hi, My name is Jeff. I live in Tucson, AZ, USA. I really like flashlights a lot, especially the users. I have come full circle on this, starting with the $1.50 plastic light and going into tactical, multi emitters, customs, and HID’s. What I really like is the ones I can USE. This does not include anything that sits on the shelf for over a year, or anything that falls into the category of artwork, or super delicate high tech, (HID’s). These are wonderful lights in their own right, just not what I’m into at the moment. Currently in rotation is an MTE SSC P7, A Sky Ray SR-5, and a FandyFire UV-S5. Oh, and I am a USA rep for Vital Gear flashlight bodies and adapters. I have been reading the forums and like some of the reviews, opinions, and especially the battery tests. Looking forward to conversing about the light!

Welcome to BLF!

Welcome!

impressive photo. does the moon really look that big with the eye? wow.
if you’re in the desert you wont need much flashlight. enough sun you got!

Aloha and welcome to BLF Jeff!

Beautiful picture.

Thanks for the welcome notes! The sky is amazing here. The moon really does look that big, but only when it is right on the horizon. The whole area is a dark zone, as there are astronomical observatories on many nearby mountaintops. Good for flashlighting!
P.S. Don, that’s a BIG fish!

welcome knot
nice photo will reconsider the moon mode on a flashlight xD
the photo is real, over zoomed or your camera eaten hallucinogen cactus?

Welcome bro, Ive always loved AZ and the desert.

If you like real-world users, check out the Rayovac 2AA for $15 at HomeDepot. Really sturdy, great light for knocking around in the desert.

Thanks for the five-year update!

Let's see, five years ago, I still used Photobucket...

And I didn't live in the desert.

How times have changed.
