What is this?

Anybody know what this is? Holds a single 18650. The charger (4.5v @400mah) plugs straight into the body. Has a compas in the tailcap. Side switch. Has Chinese writing on it and says “Police” in english. Modes = high, low, strobe - cool white (bluish)

Sorry for the lousy pictures. Cheap camera.

Tons of these on fleabay http://www.ebay.com/itm/3W-340LM-Police-CREE-LED-Flashlight-Torch-Set-Torch-3-1-Rechargeable-Battery-/280854352734?_trksid=p4340.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D654340501072629323%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D1%26

Isn’t police a brand? Therefore it would be a police light.

Hang on,

There we go, my googlefu is strong tonight.

My Ebayfo is equally strong but a step slow. Ignore the description though, its Not a Cree Q BIN emitter.

Those “POLICE” branded, 18650+charger lights are all over the www. Most don’t have a compass tailcap though.

I’ll remind my wife

Mine's got more lumens... Sealed Tongue Out

Thanks everybody! Question answered.

My gun collection is another sickness that I have suffered from for over 40 years. Soon I will be getting a second vault because I can’t get anything else into the first one. I have been carrying a .45 EDC since I was 17. Yes, I have a permit. The one in the Picture (oops!) is a Para Ordnance P10. 10 round mag and 1 in the chamber. Fully worked over by Novak’s. Kudos to Horst for knowing it was a .45. It could have been something else.

1911’s come in many flavors. .45cal (the original) is just one of them.

Here in deepest darkest WV, almost everything is allowed. My permit says “weapon OR weapons”. Gotta love it. No 13 year old niece jokes please!

A friend of mine whose teaching me how to solder asked a vendor in china for a sample with a decent led, what they sent was simian to what you have there but ran on primaries and no compass. Cory swapped the emitter to a knock off of the MCE. Took some pictures and asked them if they would do a run with 5 watt or better.
They said no but offered us two more samples for the one he modded lol.
He kindly declined due too shipping costs. Long story short, good lights to cut your teeth on for emitter swaps

I looked at the links posted here and they say 340 lumens. The strobe on this one is much brighter than the high setting and I say high is 220 lumens or less. Just guessing, of course. Someday, I need to get a light meter.
