Sheepsfoot folding ceramic

I’ve been looking for a sheepsfoot folder for a while now and was sizing up a SRM 939, but I’ve also been wanting to try a ceramic blade too. So I found one, and it’s awesome looking, but it’s not exactly a budget knife. So I was wondering if anyone had come across a budget friendly version of this knife.

Hello. On chinese shops like tinydeal, dealextreme etc have ceramic folder knives (you know how can be the overall quality) but good companies like ganzo, enlan, srm and navy don’t have any ceramic folder knives.

The reviews of SRM 939 always are good. Good knife, but i don’t like very much due to its tip (doesn’t pierce).

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Those do look to be some nice ceramic knives, but I’m really looking for one with a sheepsfoot tip. I’ve been looking around the cheap chinese sites, but so far no luck. I was hoping someone had come across one already. I’ll keep looking.

If you would like to support a fellow Canadian, Phil Cressman at www.ceramicknife.org has a lot of
nice stuff. I got some Stanley (boxcutter) knife blades from him I love. I see he has xacto blades now.
I think I`ll be sending him some more money shortly.

Yeah, the pic in the opening post is from Ceramicknife.org and if you click the pic it’ll take you to his catalogue. I’m likely gonna buy at least the ceramic box cutter from him, and maybe the ceramic xacto knife tip as well, but $50 + S&H is above my price point for this pocket knife.

Yep I understand budget/wallet restrictions. That`s how I ended up with the stanley blades.
About 4 years ago I wanted to try this new ceramic tech, I couldn’t afford anything that looked good
to try so I ordered 4 stanley blades to try still have 3 unused and haven’t flipped the 4th one over
yet. They eat cardboard like there’s no tomorrow. I have high expectations for the x acto blades.
Good luck in your hunt.

I have the SRM 939 and it is one of my favorite budget knives out of them all. The flat ground sheepsfoot blade is a useful blade design that is hard to beat. If you don’t have one, just buy one. For $9 you simply won’t find an equal. You can always get a ceramic knife somewhere later but the 939 will end up being one of your most used knives. It is worth three times the price easy.

Only one thing, SRM 939 for 9$ with free shipping i think that it doesn’t exists. May be 9$ + x$ for shipping?.
