I don't own a P60, looking to get a Solarforce to remedy that.

More than 10 available / 38 sold :expressionless: Check history (click on “38 sold”) and you will see that the first light was sold “May-31-12 20:35:51 PDT”.

As for SF - all links here are body/hosts only (without drop-ins).

EDIT: 40 bucks for Nichia drop-in? Those spring and pill must be made of gold

I have some Nichia 219s, the same drivers and the same reflectors except mine are $30 shipped and you have more mode choices.

I have one in my beside light L2M with a 2 amp 5 mode 1 lumen low and a forward clicky for sneaking to the bathroom at night without waking up my girl. I have another in an AA host as my EDC have been testing for a while. It is really impressive how much more the colors show up with one of these, the only thing that comes close in color rendition is the 7B XMLs I have.

And ordered.

Yeeeaaahhh :stuck_out_tongue: Tell us what you think (once received, of course  )

They’re like Lays potato chips; “you can’t stop at just one!” You could build a substantial collection of just SolarForce L2 series lights and variants/ accessories. BTW, the Nichia 219 drop-ins that Dave [NailBender] sells are top notch and worth every $$ spent.

congrats!

Only Cree LEDs for me.

I build the exact same drop ins as Dave(nailbender) same driver, same emitter, same reflector, plus I offer more mode options for $10 dollars less. I don’t see why you would spend the extra money for an identical product with less mode options.

I know this is going to sound like I'm waving the flag for a friend but for the life of me, I can't understand paying more for a Nailbender. Erik, maybe you need to double your prices and don't offer any custom choices. Perhaps then your drop-in will be worthy for the moneyed few.

Foy

I know I am going with E instead of Nailbender.

Don't get me wrong, I love the ErikFire E2100 and would gladly purchase another. But for my cycling lights, I would prefer less modes. 3 is good, 2 would be ideal. I need a bright high, a true medium (40-50%) and a Low (10-25%). Having to cycle through modes while riding is a pain, which is why a 2 mode would probably be the best.

My Solarforce lights make great cycling lights, especially on the helmet, fairly small form factor and good throw with the MF 3 Mode drop in. I would love an E1320 version for my SF lights but just don't want the 5 modes.

Are you sure he doesn’t make 3 mode drop ins?

That’s what my custom builds are all about. I make single mode, a couple different 2 mode options, a couple different 3 mode options and a couple different 5 mode options. Send me a PM and I am sure I can make you the perfect light.

Well Erik, I'm glad I made the comment then! Looks like you have 2 new customers. After the mini is sold, I'm going for a new L2P and I will definitely get another of your customs. Thanks for clarifying.

Erik,

I wasn’t trying to compare Dave and you. I only mentioned NB’s drop-in in response to a previous post. I’m not familiar w/ your work but from the responses it’s obvious that you make top notch drop-ins. Glad to find another top shelf maker. I’ll have to look at your offerings if you could point me to your site, thanks.

No offense taken I just feel I offer a better product for less money. I don’t do this for a job or to make money I do this for rehab from a horrible life changing accident. BLF is my site it’s the only place you can get my stuff. Everything I make is custom made as defined by the customer. I have all the standard stuff “nailbender” offers plus custom programs, any emitter you want driven at any amperage. The possibilities are limitless and I also mod complete lights with the same ingredients and anything goes attitude. If you can dream it I will build it for you. Here is my for sale thread

Erik,

Thank you, I located your thread and began reading through, plenty to catch up on… BTW, do you build D36 drop-ins? I haven’t read all the way through the thread so I thought I’d just ask. I have several D36 bezels but I’m finding it hard to locate decent reflectors for DIY, hoping perhaps you’d build d36 drop-ins.

Hi Erik, I sent a couple of PM’s but no response. I’m only posting here because of that. Perhaps there is a glitch in the system and you’re not getting my PM’s from a previous thread? I dunno…so I’m here to learn from the “master”…and looking to place an order.

Cool let us know how you like the ACE version………i love my L2P Ace even though it does not get used much.

I have not got the PMs from you strange. I am going to get dinner I will PM you when I get back
