I think the main reason is that there arent many useful 15mm drivers..
i am going to receive a 14500-to-18650 adapter in Nylon (on order and incoming). weighs 8g only. perfect for purse use.

Why not just use Ultrafire 3000mAh cells? Those are usually not more than adapters.. :D

You must be paranoid, only 6 or 7 of the 21 posts are directed at you. Anyway, I’m very interested in this thread since ordering the 14500 only Trustfire Z8.

Are there any words missing? I think I will order some of the IMRs from BIO.. a pair of 14500 and 10440 maybe.

Sorry NightCrawl, left out a hyphen: “14500-only Trustfire Z8”, if that’s what you mean. The Z8 only works with 14500, not primaries, NiMH,etc.

I think for that light I would get the 14500 from IntlOutdoor because 1.8A doesnt seem that much. Unless its unregulated, then it would be brighter with IMRs..
