i guess i am driving boardies crazy with my bragging about the achieved DD deals… Anyway, i used 400 dinopoints, 5$ off coupon, and DD giftcard. The remaining amount payable thru paypal.
well, let's be patient. my order is "Paid Order" but not yet "Order Accepted" or shipped.
I am new to the world of bright flashlights. I have been reading online in the forums etc. and the amount of info out there is astounding.
So far all I own is UltraFire. I have an UltraFire WF 501B XP-G (R5) with another 501B on the way, with XM-L ($10.00). I also have an UltraFire that zooms and also runs on 18650. I like it more than I thought I would. The Saik, I payed $7.50 for delivered. It has an extension in the middle, and will run on (2) AA’s or (1) Cr123A
I have a Klarus P2A on the way, which I ordered before I saw this forum. And an UltraFire C8 w/ XM-L. The Klarus will probably get here tomorrow.
Thanks for the review. I almost bought the Jetbeam BA 20, but found a better deal on the Klarus.
1) The BA20 has a more warmer tint than the P2A
2) The machinning of the body different (IMO the jetbeam is nicer than the p2a), but both have same quailty
3) The clip in the jetbeam is reversible (in the klarus not)
4) Late units of the klarus p2a are coming with square threads, which are more robust, smoothier and longer than the triangular shape of the jetbeam (however I dont know if the late units of the jetbeam are coming with square threads too)
Basically both lights are made in the same factory with the same led, same reflector, same electronics, same switch… only differences are the “shape” of the body an another minimal aspects…
And they have about the same light output, same runtime, same amount of light on each mode, etc…….
Aaahhh, yeah, me stupid, absolutely forget about them  Well, for one reason though - they are not good at all :~ (blue, very cold tint and so-so beam, if I remember well)
You are a big fan of a quality then  Very well made lights IMO (not without a small flaws, but still great)
I just got one of these today, it’s super high quality, it’s certainly better quality than my Fenix E25, which suffers from battery rattle, over all the jetbeam is much nicer. Even the packaging it came in was cool. The output from the Jetbeam is also higher.
But I think the Fenix is a better torch, although it has a soft click button, it’s mounted where you thumb is making for easy operation one handed. The Jetbeam is much more akward to turn on. I also think the Fenix has a better UI too.
I might do a comparison but I think the Fenix is a better torch for general use.
