I ordered about 30-50 times from Kaidomain: always received what I ordered
The website and descriptions are horrible and I liked the website layout from a few years back better (after that they had a Christmas logo throughout the year??)
I have make only a few orders in the last year because they where slow on having new stuff
In the last few month I see some improvement also at this moment KD is introducing and shipping faster new items (and at a lower price) than its main competitor.
I recently got a some orders from KD. Dropins were packaged in a plastic bag (2 together) and with the usual padded envelope. Twice. XML and UV ones. I'm surprised they survived.
I made the mistake of ordering an item without creating an account first. Am I screwed? I clicked the contact us link and it takes you to a login area.
If you have the order number with you you can make an account, contact the customer service and cancel your order. I did this once without logging into my account and the order was missing. Fortunately I had my order number and contacting them solved the problem in no more than half an hour. They cancelled my order and, I made it again with my account.
Another pro from this people, today i receive a paypal notification about 2.99 refund never asked. Days ago one item which delay the order a few days finally came unavailable , not silly store credits and such, plain money back.
Also I find the first con noted here ( terrible backordered..) a bit unfair since is just a wording issue...
Forgot to noted that around ten orders with an average three item each this one was the only delayed , however no more than 6 days..
At the 23nd of January I ordered a coated glas lens. Last Friday the 11th of Ferbuary it arrives here in Germany. Nice sendertime :). The quality is very well also fit exactly in my L2P. Thumbs up from me! Well, just ordered another one.
Even more, I had one of my items sent wrong and returned the wrong item. They offered paying the shipping for me and sending the correct item (a 3Amp 2xLiIon Led driver) quickly. Then, a mail informed me that the correct item was out of stock and they would return the payment for this item. They did so, and my Paypal refund was done. After a couple of weeks later I found the correct item sent again and sitting in my post box, without any further payment :)
I just checked and it appears they have never answered a single email I sent them within the last two years. After a quick zgrep, I'm pretty sure the problem isn't on my end. And they still owe me a C8. Sigh. I should probably keep track of these things... :D
A few times it took more than usual to get the packeage being trackable on HK post. Communication is lacking but i bet he gest spammed alot. I usually get a response in 3 days but only if my mail is state of the art short. Anything above a few short sentences is probably going in trash.
I contacted them about the possiblity they sent me 1W UV dropins which should be 3W. I was brief and added the measurements. That was one of my mails i never got a reply. Not impressed.
Yesterday I asked kaidomain to cancel and refund my order for a flashlight that was "back-ordered" for 15 days. They refunded the full amount to my paypal account after about 24 hours! So kaidomain is getting a + from me.
