BLF - I've got a problem!

I bought the Akoray, Tank007, and the 2 TrustFires because of the good reviews I've read about them. I bought the Romisen because it looked cool to me. I know it sounds stupid but it really looks cool. Plus I wanted something other than black in color this time.

Bankruptcy, here I come! Frown

I like the F23 a lot, so it is a good decision and it is a great price. I liked the programmable AKoray K-106, but if you ordered from DX, you got the non-programmable version, right? That one seems pretty good too, but it seems like some people have had a few issues with it (though I think cleaning and tightening everything generally resolved those issues).

So those are good lights. The good thing is that you can read reviews of non-budget lights and do the same thing: end up buying 5 flashlights at a whack. But that will cost you 3 times as much. With budget lights you can try a lot of different lights for a lot less money.

The best thing is to be a friend of a flashoholic, because they get all the cast-offs. I've given away as many lights as I have kept.

Hey fishinfool, you have good taste! I own the Akoray K-106 (3 mode) which is EXCELLENT, and also the Trustfire F20 which has also become one of my favorites after tightening everything up. I recently received a Romisen which I haven't reviewed yet, but I'm convinced that Romisen is a high quality brand. So enjoy them! And my apologies for contributing to your addiction!

Three of those (E07, K106 and EF23) are on my list... but I'll need to wait a bit after buying UF 504B with charger and accus ;)

Let us know if you like them!

Awesome choices....now you can put one in each corner or tabletop of the house.

Thanks guys! What sucks is that I know it's going to take a long time before I get them but that's the price you pay for budget flashlights. What's amazing to me is that for the price I spent on my first 3 flashlights, I could have bought about 10 flashlights from DX. Oh well.......live and learn right?

Can I be your friend? [huge grin] LOL

I guess were all here for a reason....lol.

Aren't we just!

Your not the only one man brted, i paid my brothers father-in-law a Magled for installing a water heater in our home.......he collects them.

I just got an email this morning telling me that my order has just shipped.

I wonder how long it will take to get here.

Well i suggest getting your rc truck ready.....sure beats waiting for the mailman.....or looking out the window.

That's fantastic. Sometimes when you order several lights like that, one of them will slow down the others. Shouldn't be more than 2 weeks before you get your lights. Usually it's just a week after Hong Kong Post says they have left the country for me.

And 2 weeks for me.....i cant wait for the 034 to get here as well....on recommendation from Don.

So does that mean my order hasn't really shipped until I get an email from Hong Kong Post?

I take it that he meant when someone orders more then one light that the shipping takes longer. Mines still in the packaging stage.

The email that I got was from DX so I thought that brted got a separate email from Hong Kong Post telling him that his order had shipped.

Sorry I meant that if you order 4 lights, it may slow down the shipment as they wait for the last supplier. But since yours shipped you should be in good shape. Once DX says it is shipped I think that just means they've sent it out. If your order is over $20 DX will give you a Hong Kong Post tracking number (which usually won't work the first day or two) and that will give you a better idea when it actually leaves Hong Kong. It can be several days between when DX says it is shipped and when HKP says it has left the country. This is the most excruciating part of ordering from DX.

Oh ok, I get it. It sucks that it will take so long because I'm used to getting things in about 2 to 3 days from US companies.

If you are used to buy from american companies, you are used to pay a lot more than you have to do at KD og DX.

Things are a little slow in coming though, so what you gonna do is to order one item at a time with a day or two in between.

The postage is free so you dont need to have it all sent in one package.

Then you can sit back and let your postman deliver a steady stream of nice and cheap quality products.

That is the price we have to pay to get cheap flashlights. Maybe I should put in an order at KD and SB so I get flashlights once a week or so. Hmmmm....Undecided
