Any experience with LED dome lights?

I am trying to find an LED dome light for my car. I need a 31mm festoon. I have been searching dx, but there must be over a 100 on there. They go from 1 LED models to 48 LED models. I’m hoping someone here has had experience with them or would be able to decipher between them. I would like to find the brightest they offer just for fun. I would also like to find the highest quality with a decent white tint. I am open to other sources too. I have about 70x80x7mm to work with.

Here are a few I found:
Single LED
48 LED
4.5w
Same but blue (Might get this for my ricer buddy.)

There are many more. These are just a few that looked alright. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for lookin.

No thoughts?

I’ve looked at these as well, till now its been no mans land, there was no lumen values to anything just super bright, very bright, extra bright etc, so i haven’t bought any, your links make me willing to reconsider in future, but mind you thats likely next year future.

I needed some of these for my Mini Cooper, but not the 31mm. Here is what I ordered:

I put the 6 element unit in the dome light. It’s moderately bright, but very blueish tint.

I put 2 of the 3 element units in the license plate area, they are PLENTY bright, a bit blue tint as well, but look great.

In Florida they are calling blue lights on your tag as manipulation of vehicle registration and licensing. The fuzz says you are altering your license plate. The same with Blue headlights…… Man O Man ……

George at Taskled has dome light drivers. He started with Land cruiser mods but has more generic bits available now. The solder pads at the ends are where the festoon tabs were attatched. Check his archive for pics.
