very budget thrower (300 meters + distance) for under $50

+1. Of course I want them too.

Yeah, just nail the lid on my wallets coffin, I dare you! :stuck_out_tongue:

Best single xml thrower? More than thrunite tn31?

He doesn’t own the TN31 yet  I think he will although there was mention of the Elecktrolumens monster also….

Check out TurboBBs posts for the Thrunite vs some others

If your car is running right you’ll be max 14.4 volts. At full charge a 4S lipo pack will be at 16.8 volts. You’ll definitely be shortening light bulb life considerably if you run it at those kinds of voltages. 3S works perfectly for all 12v nominal uses. It peaks at 12.6v.

What are some links to some of the recent few good ones that have been mentioned?

Nope, you just need a 75 cent trimpot and a little soldering, Mine works just fine, see here:

Just for you buddy.

Small Sun ZY-T13 - these were all taken on 1.4 sec shutter, f/4 and ISO 400

I just got done taken these. Perfect dark nite to take pictures here with a super clear nite.

350yds

220yds

100yds or so up the street

Ooooohhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks bud! Awesome!

I will add that those are probably just a little on the overexposed side. But they should give you a good idea.

Your welcome.

And the middle picture it’s not 220yds to that pool rather the last electrical pole and the trees in the far background. Just so you know.

mags,

I finally got access to my pictures again since the site was down.

This is about what you can expect with the FandyFire STL-V6 at 350yds.

Manual exposure of 1.4 sec shutter, f/4 and ISO 400

This will let you see on the same exact settings and distance how that FandyFire above will compare to the Sunwayman T40CS.

How does the sunwayman clone stand up to the original? Im obviously guessing it loses in many aspects, but by how much? Does it still give the original some competition?

Is the Trustfire X8 comparable to the Fandyfire STL V6? I know there is a comparison out there with beamshots but over all is it really worth the purchase? I already have the X8. Would I need to go one step higher with the Trusfire X6 or perhaps the Crelant 7G6 or V9 to see a big difference?

Well I need to take a better one with my Crelant 7G5 at 350yds.

But I can show you some other shots with my Crelant 7G5 if it will help. The new EagleTac with the updated driver is currently my best single XM-L thrower.

Here’s 2 at about 100yds or so.

Same settings as the others.

Crelant 7G5

EagleTac M3C4(updated driver from EagleTac)

Ok here’s the Crelant 7G5 at 350yds same settings.

Here’s the EagleTac M3C4(updated version)

Thank you for the comparison beamshots…well done photos. Looks like the Fandyfire comes out as a no brainer in this shootout.

Well now those last 2 were my better XM-L throwers.

But like I said for under $50 if there is a better XM-L thrower for the money than the FandyFire STL-V6, I sure don’t know of it. But $ for $ the Small Sun ZY-T13 is probably the better deal for $24. But I still would rather have the FandyFire.
