Anyone have this???

I am poking around “EachBuyer” which is the place I got my Ultrafire Sipik clone and I come across this light

Says it’s a Q5 and zoomable, 1AA. The price is sure right. Worth getting? I like the simple design better than the Sipik, but is there a problem with it?

Don't have it but it looks kinda like the BLF Delight.

Looks good for only 3.99.
Also saw this one which can use a 18650;

At only 6.51 this looks like a deal for a small zoomie.

Think I’ll try one of each, cheap fun!
Thanks,
Keith

Glad I could help feed our addiction

I might pick up one of the 3.99 ones too just to see

Plus I have an 8% off coupon……24 cents baby!!!

EDIT: Put in my order….$3.67 after my coupon. Will see. Interestingly I can’t find ANY like this on Ebay, so it’s either a find or it is a mis-labeled Powerlight or BLF DeLight or whatever….labeled as CREE Q5.

Any way to actually TELL whether I get a Cree Q5 when it shows up? (not like I’m that worried for my $3 and 67 cents)

I have several of these no-name lights. The build and brightness varies wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer. Consistently, the no-namers like this that I ordered very early in my LED career came from Meritline, and they have stood the test of time. Just sooper lights. They are some of the best Q5 18650 zoomers that I have. Very bright and a SOOPER bright thrower zoom when zoomed in all the way. Top-notch construction also. Smaller and brighter Q5 emitter image than most sk68s and its various clones. Light is a little bigger than an Sk98.

However, trying to replicate the magic, I ordered a few off ebay and they were okay, but no match for the meritline zoom monsters. In fact, a couple months ago, just for giggles, I ordered another one from ML to see if it still was the same as the earlier ones. Yup.

Just great lights. VERY pocketable. Hopefully you’ll hit the jackpot. If not, try the same light from meritline.

Sure. Just familiarize yourself with the physical characteristics of the different LEDs that are out there. You can view some images, along with other information, here:Brightness Bins - Flashlight Wiki

EDIT: Sorry, if you meant determining the difference between, say, an XR-E Q3 and an XR-E Q5, that would be a lot more difficult, since they look the same.
