Do you know these LEDs? (Taiwan drop-ins from Manafont)

Some strange looking LEDs from Manafont:

RED: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/taiwan-3w-red-light-dropin-module-42v-max-p-5699

BLUE: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/taiwan-3w-blue-light-dropin-module-42v-max-p-5701

GREEN: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/taiwan-3w-green-light-dropin-module-42v-max-p-5700

UV 380nm: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/taiwan-3w-380nm-uv-flashlight-dropin-module-42v-max-p-5697

I bought the UV one, I'll report results when I get it.

Jim@Manafont didn't know to tell me who is the manufacturer of the LED. He also couldn't tell me anything about some other products from his site, other than what's written in Manafont's site. That's a pity, I thought they knew who they buy from.

So, maybe you know the manufacturer?

third and 4th (last) are cree I think.

FIrst and second are either Luxeon or cheaper chinese version (such as edison)

The second is the Phillips Lumileds K2 TFFC, the first looks like it could be a luxeon, but I can't see the dome. The 4th, I have no idea. the 3rd is definitly a cree.

I got the red and the blue one both from an ebay's vendor some months ago for around $2 each. It was an auction ...I think both are made for the same manufacturer probably Philips

The red is in one 'police' host , the only at hand, with a 5 modes driver...it was a pain in the a$"s to get the guts off in that cheap crap but finally work despite the broken plastic reflector and the dust, very powerful emitters

The uv one i have looks like the one at manafont is packaged like a luxeon and is probably not cree made.

It's a pity manafont do not know more about the products but this is often the case everywhere since manufacturers rarely provide decent specs.

They do look similar.

I hope the wavelength on Manafont's are true.

But we expect Manafont to lead the way, don't we? :)

arenat, do you have a link to the leds you bought?

The first two are Philips Luxeon K2s, despite differing appearances. Philips doesn't make the emitter die uniform across product lines like Cree does.

The third a Cree XR-E.

The fourth one looks like an Edison Opto Edixeon S.

It was a year ago , my first emitters bought, recently when realize how good the emitters are tried to find this guy but I can't... today all appear to be generic chinese dies. Maybe he's selling other kind.
