ups it works again :)

XTAR WP2 charger, test it and expect to some pictures,i didn't know the ask for the peripheral gadgets could be work.

Charged the first two of them. Now discharging one at 0.5A. Then I'll discharge one at the maximum the charger will allow as these are going to be asked for 1.8-2A in their intended use.

465mAh so far out of it and half a volt to go till it stops. The capacity rating may even be honest. The next test after that is to put the XM-L modded Mr.Lite J4 on the lightbox with a freshly charged 14500 (flame Trustfire protected) and with one of these cells to see how they compare.

Output

IMR 14500
14500

While the initial brightness is a fraction lower, the IMR cell maintains the brightness a lot better. And they were around what I paid for the flame protected Trustfire 14500s. Look like a pretty good deal to me.

Capacity measured at 568mAh. Which since it says 600mAh on the wrapper is completely amazing for a Chinese cell.

Thanks, Don. Will keep them in mind for my next T6

I tested the XTAR WP2 with the Gray protected Ultrafire 2400mAh I got from the tMart deal.

It charges them both to 4.10V in a reasonable time (didn't measure - maybe 2 hours?).

There was some problem with contacts (I needed to put the batteries in a certain position, otherwise the charger won't detect them), but I think this has more to do with the batteries plastic cover than with the charger itself.

The price are very high

their website is fixing now since they noticed what we are talking their shop (it is slowly and somes works not good), it will come out again around 1 week or so, you can vist www.powerwholesale.net (their replacement website)if you need order some items urgently...

Placed an order for some IMR batteries (10440, 14500, and 18650). Their prices and selection are very good on IMR batteries. I was a little disappointed by the "free shipping" but not free "handling". But they only charge it on the first item ($2.27). So I got six batteries for less than $20. I registered first and then placed the order. It went very smoothly and I got a confirmation e-mail from Best In One as well as PayPal. Then later today, I got a status update that my order was "complete". I checked on the status of the order on their site which said under Status "canceled" and under Comment "complete". I didn't remember canceling anything, so we will have to see. That has been the only hiccup so far.

Well, just to try it out. I did their online chat and they said everything is fine and they will have their webmaster fix the "canceled" thing. Impressive so far!

Just looked again today and they have raised the prices on all of their IMR batteries by $2 per pair.

I had ordered 2x18650 IMR and 2x14500 IMR cells from bestinone.net at 29.Apr. The order was processed fast and cells were sent in the day. The most shocking experience I have ever had from a HK buy, the shipping was tracked and it came in our country in no more than 3-4 days, and arrived today at 5th of May. And the last 2 days past only by the items waiting to be sent in the city.

The cells arrived alright. I quick charged them via a Turnigy Accucel-6 charger up-to 4.1V and even lower (fast charge usually charge up to %85, and in this case around 4.05V).

I tried the cells on a self built 2.8A (8xAMC7135 from KD) XM-L light and the tail current was around 2.6A at 4.0V cell voltage. I tried 14500 on the same light and a 600mA 14500 could give 2.6A easily. So I guess these are genuine LMR cells or they have low internal resistance at least.

Would like to buy from them again, better if they could have sold the cells at the previous rate.

Would you please measure the capacity at different currents from fully charged cells, or at least at highest discharge rate you can. As you have Turnigy charger this is probably doable.

Got my IMR batteries yesterday. I'll do a review of them later on, but I'm not real sure they are true IMR's. I need to do some more testing. One of the 14500's had a voltage reading of 1.5V out of the package, but most of the others were 3.8V. The maximum discharge rate of the Turnigy is 1A, so that won't be of much use except for measuring overall capacity.

OK, so here's my experience with them.

Feb 14, I've contacted with them asking if they have in stock Xeno E03 black NW. Kiko Ho kindly replied me the same day. I also ordered protective case for my 14500.

Feb 16, my items were shipped (registered shipping)

Don't remember why, but mid/late Feb, HK delayed almost all shippings. OK, no prob, Kiko warned me too about extra delay.

Late March, no item, nothing. I've emailed Kiko, and he/she told me to wait a little bit more.

Mid April, still without my Xeno. Another email to Kiko. The same reply (i.e.: wait a little bit more)

So, I remembered that I have tracking number. Firstly I've checked with HK mail tracking. Surprise!!!

WTF?! 2 months later and still in HK?? :| So I decided to check it with Correos (Spanish tracking). Another big surprise! Looks like my package arrived to the postoffice March 11 and was returned to seller 2 weeks later!!! :~ WTF?! I haven't received any notice! :| (a badly written name/surname/ZIP code?? Don't know) I went to my post office and they told me the same, that according to mail tracking, my package arrived March 11 and was there till late March.

Ok, no prob. I've told Kiko what happened and will wait till they receive the package back. April 9, HK mail tracking show me this message.

Another email two days later. Kiko told me that the package only left Spain April 9. Another WTF?! According to Correos, the package left Spain on March 31, and of course, Correos can't provide mail trackin once the package left Spain. So, according to HK mail tracking, April 9 the package arrived in HK post office.

One week later or so:

Another email. Nothing, the same reply, they still have not received the package back.

And till late May, I was sending emails every week. The same f%$king relpy. The package left Spain on March 31, and two months later you still haven't received it??? "was returned" mean that, that it was returned, not "in proccess", not "being returned" or whatsoever.

Two days ago, after 20 or more emails, they returned my money back. BUT I HAVE TO PAY PP FEES ALSO!! WTF?! After 3 months and after sending them more than 20 emails I have to pay PP fees also? F$&K YOU!!! I'm 100x100 sure, that if I weren't so persistent, they never return my money back!

Don't trust them! And fill the PP dispute before 45 days limit in case you haven't received you package. They reply you the same day, very kindly, yes, but still, don't forget to fill the PP dispute on time. I didn't do that, and had to sent dozens of emails and wait weeks.

I bought XTAR WP2 Battery Charger, 2xIMR18650-1500mAh 3.7V li-ion battery and Brinyte XML-C5 CREE XM-L T6 LED.

Items arived 20 days after i payed for it, packaging was rly good they wraped all in buble wraps and put in one box no dmg on anything so i recomend them.

I received my second order two days ago. Again it was a below 2 week delivery. With the tracking number given, I saw it was our post service delaying it 4 -5 days. So exceptionally good service for me. Interesting how things go so mixed on your sides.

Actuly my oder could arive faster it is 20 days coz i odered on friday so items shiped at mondey any my country customs holded pcage for 3-4 days before it was sent to me so prety good for me if i compare it whit usual suplier DX who nead arleast one week to pacege it and ship.

I just got an order of IMR cells from BIO, And im somewhat indifferent about it.

The cells work great, The push almost anything i put them in to a higher amperage. With some 18650 IMR's my MF XM-L drop-in which is 2.8A is hitting 3.25A now.

I also got some 18350 IMR cells at 800mAH and they push my 1.1A R5 up too 1.5A's while still retaining the proper voltages.

Why indifferent? The 18650 IMR's i bought were listed as 1500mAh, But what i received is 1400mAh cells by the markings on the cells. So ill be contacting them over this as i just a few days ago ordered more 18350 and 10440 IMR's.

I just sent a message to BIO threw their mail system.

IMR18650-1500mAh 3.7V li-ion battery (2 pcs) IMR18650 1 $9.15 $9.15

Hi, I just received this order here in the USA, And upon inspecting the package i found an issue with the above item. What i received was a 1400mAH 18650 set of cells instead. Now i know thats not alot lower, But its not what i paid for. And is such a low capacity cell compared to Li-Ion cells 100mAH is kind of alot of missing capacity.
Im also not talking about what the cell tested at, Im talking about what was written on its side.

Being so far away leaves very few options to compensate the difference of not getting the right item. Its close but not what i ordered. If possible id prefer to get compensated by lowering the cost of another order of the same IMR 1500mAH 18650 cells so i get the cells i want and keep the ones you sent already even tho they are a lessor item.
If you credit my account ill order another set asap, Im not asking for my money back. Just that i be compensated for the lower value of the cells i recieved.
Thanks, XXX [/quote]

I hope they take a buck or 2 off and ill order a new set and hopefully get 1500mAh rated cells this time.

BTW this was my first order, But ive made a second one before this one even arrived so if i order again it will be my 3rd order and i would think they would want me as a happy repeat customer. But im not optimistic as Chinese CS isnt anything like USA CS.
