Review: Black Shadow Darth 3 x XM-L T6 NW

Good analogy. I really like the color too; for some reason I never cared for the King's color, even the black is kinda ho-hum. This gunmetal grey is really attractive. A very well designed light aesthetically.

excellent review thank you!

Thanks for the review! Now that I'm doing my own review I understand how much work goes into these things. ;)

think you mean next to the g707? nice light and nice knives. which one of those do you like more. i have the g707 and been looking at the “microtech” from kaidomain for a while

Ah yes! Good catch. I knew it didn’t look right when I wrote 703 but it’s all I could think of. Correcting it now. Thanks.

Oh, and as for what is nicer... the 707 is smaller and slimmer. People look at me less strangely when I pull out the 707 than they do with the Microtech. Think of the 707 as a gentleman's switchblade while the Microtech is an assassin's switchblade.

Thanks JohnnyMac. Even if I was a good boy, I don't think Santa would bring me one. Nice light, nice review.

Thats a heck of a first review… I like this light,

the has already reviewed this light.

Nice review!

Great review. I wish I would have grabbed this when we first heard word of it. I’m sure if I had it I would love it, but I need something to blow away my skyray 3xT6 before I can spend that type of cash.

:open_mouth:

Re Cons:

Heck fire. I consider that one heckuva positive.

Great review btw. Tough act to follow especially if you’re like most of us B-actors. 8)

Could I use unprotected cell(flat top) in Darth?
I have LG 3000 unprotected cells. it worked on King.

If they worked in the King they may work in this as well but I’d recommend button topped cells.

I am using the grey unprotected Panasonic 2900 in mine. Works great!

I’m slipping in my old age. It’s added now in the cons. Thanks.

Thanks very much! Frontpage’d and Sticky’d.

I would love to be able to get the host! Underdriven=begging for AMC mod!

I never see kind of review… Very well made, I just wonder if the light can work with just one or two batteries, can the batteries get loose in the body and will fall over? Thanks and Happy New Year

Since the batteries are in parallel it would probably work, but one would want a battery capable of high currents.
