So my kid and I were brushing teeth when we shined around a flashlight and hit the wifes 10x magnifying mirror.l I got the light to focus and it made a nice tight spot
Then had an idea. A piece of cardboard tubing mount mirror in end, mount flashlight facing mirror suspended much like a prism in a telescope. The focus length was only about 6” or so maybe a few more.
Mount a handle on top paint the tube flat black and tada a focused thrower. It was a lowely cheap led light but focused all together it shined far and tight.
Well it was hard to do that while holding a baby and on a 7” tablet with a draw program I mever used before. but I guess yes like a recoil flashlight but maybe on a larger scale. Maybe use something like a uf2100 for the light sourve and maybe a 8 _ 10” mirror.
I will have to look around for some materials to try it
I wonder how fast my wife would miss her mirror………
There's an old saying. There's nothing new under the sun. It applies most of the time. Every time I think I have a new idea, I find it on CPF or youtube... Usually done years ago...
