LED close-ups.

lol, that is NOT LED manufacturing, they are showing a prober and thats it, LED manufacturing happens before that.

I’ve made the drive between Grand Haven and Durham a couple of times now, easily done in a day, but still takes about 13 hours, which scarily is only 4 more hours than it took me to go from Grand Haven up to school at Michigan Tech.

Thank you sir! Looks great.

You are welcome Sir!

Nice

Thanks for the pictures Foy.

Perhaps we should have an LED picture competition; who can take the coolest shots of LED’s?

(My friends think I’m lifeless.) :weary:

Nice shot Xiotis!!!

Thank you Relic38, it’s a nice light too!
I already opened a new ‘flashlight photography’ thread to post more flashlight photos

Awesome pictures, unfortunately I cant find any pictures of XRE and XPE side by side, they look the same to me, but there is some difference in size or?

You can see the difference here on brted’s wiki:

The ring around the XR-E is square while round on the XP-E.

I posted these in the flashlight photography thread, but I thought they are appropriate here as well.

Alright, thanks!
So it looks like XR-E has huuuge metalic square around it while XP-E has nothing but the dome on top of it, nice, now I know that all my lights ar XP-E, because I cant see that giant square around LED in any of my lights :D!

I think your pictures are more interesting. If you are going to do Macro... DO IT! The ones on CPF are clear but yours show "Life". A little better lighting and yours will lose the grain and be even more interesting. Nice! Thanks for sharing.
