Smile He explains it: "From luminus website data sheet - PhlatLight SSR-90 module consisting of a SST-90 surface mount device mounted on an aluminum star-board".

It's a DIY project, I don't think it will be commercially available (but I may be wrong).

I think however that driving the three LEDs combined at 3A is way too low and missing the point. SST-90 can sustain about 9A if I'm not mistaken.

It was cute tho. Would like better a triple neutral R4 driven at 3A. HML no strobes.

It's 3A at 12.6V (3 18650 in series), so too much for XP-G.

I didn't make the Elephant II.

You can register to the other forum using the link I provided and contact the maker.

Oh serial.. right... im not really a triple in series fan. I will probably not own one such. Parallel perhaps yes but not very enthusiastic about that either.

In parallel, you have to very carefully match the forward voltage of the LEDs or one or more is going to burn. And Vf can change with use.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

Thanks for clarifiying what was the exact reason i felt it was not such i good idea!

Did not had a clue but working with electronics for years it just felt wrong to me for not very known reasons.

Perhaps it would be best driving 3 emitters each from its own battery and having a unified switch. Not the best approach but the safest i guess.

A triple L2 ductaped comes to mind...
