Justin, this is sick. Should be a decent thrower (even better if XP-G2) and a great flooder. I’ve got my eyes on this one.

Just about all I keep for leds any more are XM-L and the Nichia. I figured to put the T6 3C in this one. 2.8A driver for the T6 and a single 7135 chip for the leds. 20 leds @20mA each = 400mA and a single chip should do about 350mA, so about 17something mA for each led. Hopefully it will work out for this.
I find a step drill bit handy for this. Only have to drill once and easy to see depth.

It’s only because I bought T6 3C from China. All I could find at the price I was willing to pay, so that’s what I will put in.
I would put in a Nichia, but the new batches of the 219 that I have gotten from IS are Not warm White and I suspect, not high CIR either. They are borderline neutral to cool white and don't look like high CRI from what I can tell with my eyes.
