Is there a way to personalize and keep the “Advanced Post Editor” as our default ?

Yes there is: My Account -> Edit -> Preferred input formats (yes, it's there, scroll down a lot) + Save

Is ít possible to preset the PM editor also to the advanced editor? I want to have my editors consistent.

I tried photos tonight, something that had been hit and miss on the old simple editor, worked fine, i’m a happy bunny! :party: 8)

I always post off my mobile (no internet at home :cry: baby food and nappies is a higher priority and our smart phones tend to do the job) so now I can actually add photos easily. manc voice on NICE ONNNNNEEE! manc voice off :bigsmile:

Hi sb,

I am really getting to like your forum, thanks for all the work you put into it.

I still seem to be having trouble getting certain things to work with the post editor.

For example I still cant get links to post as links. If I cut copy they show as text, and when I click the insert link button and put it in there, next it asks if I want to leave the page. If I say yes all my text is lost, if I say no the box just stays on the screen.

What am I doing wrong?

How would I post a thread with excel formulas and images?

If I disable formatting the excel formulas are OK but the images show up as links, and if I don’t disable formatting the excel formulas are truncated but the images are OK.

Excel formulas, just put @@@ symbols around them for inline formulas or other wise do it like this:
