How did we do? (FastTech.com)

you see that all the time at the big box stores

buy the ps3 here and get a $40 gift card

buy an xbox here and get two games free

sign your soul over to the devil and spend 99 cents on an iphone

On some online dealers, prices can be transacted through emails. Even with the usual BLF/CPF discount, most items can be had at a still lower price. I have done this a couple of times.

How about a Trustfire X6 or even a clone of the X6 ?

I’ve been itching to pick up one of these for a while…

Promo codes for brands are used by other merchants. I received a promo code for all Fenix lights that gave me 20% off the advertised price when entered at checkout. That merchant uses it for other brands off and on and it is still in business….

Thank you everyone for your inputs.

Well other sites are still selling these at around $55. This includes even eBay. We decided that if they can’t make everyone comply we have no choice but to ignore their request.

Once again the lights are available for order now in both cool white and neutral white flavors.

Thanks Jasmine. I hope you all don’t get in trouble. I’ve had great success with fasttech on my orders

I have to say here, I have made about 4-5 good sized purchases from them in the past month and a half.

A couple of the orders contained very minor issues. One package was missing some $2 magnets, one package came with a broken $3 red dot laser, and one came with a cheap flashlight that had a dirty reflector.

Fasttech handled EVERY issue with absolutely FANTASTIC service and I am very thankful for that.

I must say, if I need something, I’ll be ordering from Fasttech, and if they don’t have it, i’ll wait for them to get it lol.

Best shopping experience ever!

I just finished testing the six Panasonic NCR18650A 3100mAh button-top, protected cells I recently received fast from FastTech.
Firstly I charged them in my Pila IBC and all came out at 4.19V each. Next I have my hobby charger discharge capacity tested each one of them and here are the results:

3069 mAh (re-tested after I manually terminated the discharge mode due to some errands, 2914mAh)
3030
3036
3031
3064
3054

Excellent consistency and quality control by Panasonic.

I’m really glad you’re going this way on this issue. I don’t understand what NiteCore has to gain as I can only see the price you charge affecting your margin and not theirs. OK, they want to be a premium brand but I’d like to see them enforce this MAP in Europe as it’s outright price fixing and likely to attract the attention of the bureaucrats.

Still a bit premium for me even despite your great price. Maybe your friends at Convoy could take some ‘design inspiration’ from your recent dealings with NiteCore and show them how it can be done?

+1

Just have to say. From a scale from 1 to awesome. Fasttech is awesome!

Hey fast tech. I just wanted to suggest you carry 936 or 937 soldering stations. Real or knock off cause they both seem good and are hard to find at decent prices

I dont know if Fasttech reads this forum now or not, but Ill share my experience from other thread here:

Item ordered 03.01.13, paid for registered shipping, shipped from Fasttech 04.01.13, then it spent 9(!!!) days at HK post office before it was sent out on 13.01.13 and arrived at destination country during afternoon of 15th January, it spent 9(!!!) days in HK post office, it took ONLY 2 days for it to be delivered to my country, then it took 5(!!!) days(two holidays in between) for my local customs to process it and it was sent to post office and I picked it up on 6th day of this item being in my country, the first day it was at the post office!
So, yeah, I know how local post office processes packages, I knew that it might spend up to 5(!!!) days for local customs to process it, however Im really disappointed that it took 9(!!!) days for item to actually leave HK’s post office!

Not satisfied this time since I paid for registered, sorry…

Got my Trustfire flames 3000 today, took over a month(snail mail) so it came with the battery box without the additional wrap. I now know what you mean, mine is cracked a bit too. But it doesn’t care me because I can still use it(will glue it) and the whole deal was so cheap(8:money_mouth_face:

I haven’t tested them yet , but what I can say that they look awesome!
This holographic lightning with red and golden, very cool. Look much better than the old 2400. Wanted ever some of these for my collection, but was scared of all the fakes.

@veer: chill. They say 10 - 14 business days for registered shipping, so just as advertised.

Wow! I placed an order late last night (way too late, actually :weary: ) and I just got an email stating it is shipped! About eight hours from ordered to shipped. If the shipping goes smooth, this may break my current FT record of nine days ordered to received.
Great job Fasttech!

Any UK members who have purchased from Fasttech??

Can you let me know if the goods came in under the radar, or did you have to cough up?

Man, now even Im thinking about ordering some cheapies to use in mobile power packs :D!

And yes, I had pretty high expectations seeing others in EU receiving their lights within two weeks :D!
Either way Im gonna order some more from them and then see how it goes, my next orders will most likely have free registered shipping, so no loss/disappointment there.

Which country are you in?

This typically happens when there is no plane going from Hong Kong to your country. This happens during holiday seasons when planes get full (definitely not the reason here), and when the package just missed a weekly plane ride to the destination country. This could also happen due to mishandling by Hong Kong Post but the chance of this is quite small.

Let us know, send us a PM, and/or ticket and we’ll check with Hong Kong Post for the exact reason. Thank you.

Just so everyone knows, that wasn’t the only message we’ve got from Nitecore. After the reverse price match we did, they are still sending us messages telling how upset they are by us sharing that message here.

We want to clarify that the message was copied in its entirety, and its main purpose was to explain the reason behind the price hike. This exact copy has got their nerve — we’re now getting gender offending words in recent e-mails :exmark: . Good grief.

I’m not going to quote, forward, or paraphrase any of those jaw dropping contents for now because a) we have never intended to provoke them (or anyone at all, for that matter) and b) apart from a laugh it’s probably not going to be constructive for anyone. We know they make cool lights and have even established their own testing standards. We really thought they’re cool and thus had respect for them.

Going forward, the Chinese New Year is closing in. Here is our official shipping schedule:
http://www.fasttech.com/forums/order-support/t/1000334/2013-chinese-new-year-holiday-schedule

Basically, all orders placed before Feb 5, 2013 are going to be shipped normally. Orders placed after that will be shipped on or soon after Feb 17, 2013.

Jasmine

I thought I just inform, that my headlamp is here after 6 days in transit to Finland.
(4 working days…).

Correction:
it was different order, different tracking but still under 2 weeks

PM sent, thanks ;)!
I dont wanna believe that for one whole week there were no planes/routes to my destination country from HK post :D!
On the other hand items I ordered were dummy batteries, perhaps that was the reason for delay, perhaps they didnt know that these were not real batteries and thought that these might be lithium ones?

Either way, items arrived intact and are working fine:

Well worth the money ;)!
