What you got today

A few of the things I recieved in the past couple days:

-UZI tactical pen with glass breaker (from EDCdepot)

-SRM 763 knife (also ENLAN EL-01A not pictured as its in my car) from exduct

-100 ft. of orange paracord (from EDCdepot)

Sorry, photo taken with my iphone. Also, I somehow managed to not notice the grub on the blade until I uploaded the photo. Just a smudge, not a defect or anything :)

Manafont delivered this knife http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/sanrenmu-stainless-steel-manualrelease-folding-knife-wa3-401-p-4361 today. I bought it for my wife and to see how good this sanrenmu quality everyone is talking about is. First my wife loves it. The quality is really good. This is a well put together knife and I have never had a blade come this sharp. If you have a wife or girlfriend that likes little knives you will score some points for $6.

I don't see much useful information in telling about my purchases, but it seems to be fun.

This week, postal services have finally delivered all of my orders.

Ant-Supplies Ltd. sent orange silicone O-rings and green GITD switch boots. The envelope from Manafont brought three Ultrafire XM-L P60 dropins, one for my SureFire (to replace the solarforce XM-L T6 dropin I used to have in there, which I sacrificed and cut up to "hotrod" another cheapo torch) and the others for a Match-mod-mini-mag recreation and as a spare.

Don has provided me with gorgeous QTC-pills, and an envelope from Lighthound contained GITD lanyards (gosh, I know! But I need them for some projects; besides, I can't get them locally), a quite expensive Overready McClicky-switch for my SureFire 6P, an even more expensive smooth, black TiAIN-coated steel bezel for the Surefire (yup, more money than sense), two more (actually affordable) bare McClicky switches for toying around with my other lights; and 50 grams of Nyogel 779ZC.

And thanks to an unnamed German eBay vendor, I now have ten fresh CR123A Panasonic primaries, best before 2021. The ebay offer cost me 1.39 Euros each and no shipping charge (in other currencies: that equals US$ 2.01, or GBP 1.23 per piece), while they'd cost 7-8 Euros (US$ 8.70-10.14 or £ 6-7) each in local stores around here. Now that's budget again!

I got my first DX order in today, a Trustfire F20.

Pretty decent little AA light, quite a tight beam for an almost-keychain sized flashlight.

When it came, it had the dreaded "changes modes by itself and flickers a lot" syndrome.

Cleaned up the bottom of the welded-in pill with rubbing alcohol, and that seemed to fix the problem. Removed the wire clip (I'll never use it) and that was that. Probably run Eneloops in it.

They generally take a little fiddling with to get them right. But it's hard to beat them for the price.

+1 This is a great little knife (and my current EDC).

Yes, they are

I got my first 2 Enlan Elo2s today . Now that's a Knife !

Fit and finish is perfect and I believe you could circumcise a rhinoceros in two seconds flat with it .

If you post a review including above said function, please be sure to include pictures as well, could be a youtube viral hit if you have video.

I got my Ultrafire UH 2B and some 502B tailcaps and pressure switches from Manafont. I know the UH 2B is only borderline 'budget'..............but it's a hell of a little light for ~$30. Out of the box my example objected to my El-Cheapo Nimh AA's but performed flawlessly with UF 14500's.

I got the Nitecore EX-10 SP from Boaz. I have yet to test it, i thought my manafont order would've been here by now waiting for some 16340s to put in the nitecore. ilL have to get some cr123s tomorrow.

Links, guys, don't forget to add links

Well I got my SRM763 today and I must say I am very pleased with it! This is my first axis lock folder and I think i'm really going to like it! I will EDC it in place of my Spyderco Delica all Stainless Steel version for a few days and see how she will grow on me. I've been EDC'ing my Spyderco for about 8 years now...time for a change??? We will see! I am also going to be ordering the Enlan EL-02 soon as well since I seem to like the axis lock pretty well and that El-02 sure is a fantastic looking folder!

My two Skyray S-A1's came. This is a great light - under $12 at LT....

I got in trouble from my wife for ordering so much stuff from China... <sigh>

Well you owe them trillions of dollars it would be mean not to slip them a few now and again :P

Dx package arrived 18 days aftr shipped date.

This was an order I have really been anticipating. Two lights.

1. Tank007 703 red OK I have ordered a lot of lights and my wife has never even glanced sideways at any of them other than the times I have dragged her outside because I knew she would be impressed with the newest one. She never was. I did not even get a battery into this light before it was hers! She loved it big time. When I did get a chance to look at it I was pretty impressed. It is a really nicely done light. Im glad my wife liked it, now I might order one for myself(again). Oh and it is really bright with a 10440 but Missy wants a AAA in there. How does she know the difference, maybe shes been listening all along!?

2. Hugsby P31 This light was ordered as part of my mission to find MY perfect EDC. I knew I was making a concession with no 14500 support and only one mode but the quality, size, style, clip, everything else was there. Well I put the battery in there and nothing. This light was DOA. I tried everything, cleaning, banging, testing batteries etc. Nothing. Then I remembered reading about some coming with different drivers. I looked at the box, four hours of frustration later, and sure enough 2.8-15V. You kidding me? Put a 14500 trustfire flame in there an POW! High, low and strobe. My favorite combination and implementation of modes. I always find medium to be pretty useless and I love and use strobe a lot. The low is really low. So I ordered the light planning to make a few sacrafices and ended up with what has to be, time will tell, THE perfect EDC for me. Im a happy guy. The finish and machining on this light are really as good as all the reviews say.

I got a Hugsby P31 and it works on both AA and 14500 which is very nice. Mine was from KD.

got my manafont order today, 16340 UFs for the NItecore EX10 i got yesterday, trustfire charger, UF xml dropin. Also got a grey L2 and pouch from Solarforce.

I just read the Hugsby P31 revisited thread and I see that there are three or maybe more drivers out there. I just took it outside and I have to add here that this thing has very a unexpected excellent throw.
