These movies are all awesome, but I’m saddened at the lack of martial arts flicks in here. In no particular order: Enter the Dragon, Drunken Master, Ip Man, Hero, Fists of Fury, House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Yeah, I hear ya.
I was going to list some movies from the Shaw Bros. I like, as well as a couple of ninja movies.
But I thought that not many member’s out there heard of them. Anyway, here’s some.

The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin, Heroes Of The East, The 5 Venoms, Challenge Of The Masters, Invincible Shaolin,
The Boxer From Shantung, Crippled Avengers, The 5 Shaolin Masters, Shinobi, Ninja In The Dragon’s Den.

When I was a kid, I spent many a weekend riding my bike down to Chinatown watching these.
They don’t make um like this anymore, although I absolutely loved Ip Man 1 thru 3
Did you know that Donnie Yen has agreed to make another Ip Man ?
The story is supposed to focus more on his elder years when he’s training Bruce Lee.

Ip Man 3? Nice! The first two have been awesome. Loved Sammo Hung in Ip Man 2. Few of those old ones got Old Bushy Eyebrows, and he was always a favorite of mine.

TODO List:

Acquire more parts.

Devise cheap way to make TIRs.

Rub some bacon on it.

Finish something that I

Older one like Back To The Future are very nice. I love Ace Ventura, Kill Bill too.
Newer one are all Matrix.
Newest are Borat, Bruno, Dictator.

Tried to watch Shawshank Redemption recently and it was a bit boring bcoz i still remembered its story line.

cool i'll see you when you get there

So when is a thread truly dead ?
Must we always keep looking ahead ?
We know things in the past
Were all made to last
And we sometimes forget what’s been said

Quite a lot of movies named before I can agree upon as being truly great (fun, action). Once upon a time I was doing OK, good job, new car, etc. But I had to end my study and my girlfriend thanked me for being such a nice (well: rebound) guy. Filled with new self-esteem she went on to greener pastures. The next weeks I spent gazing at the TV, eating TV dinners. Until “Harold and Maude” came along (on TV). Was it emotionally a hole in one or totally over the top?
I don’t know but I laughed until I had cramps in my stomach. The next day I went to work with a smile on my face.

Edit: the graduation scene in “Stripes” gives me the same feeling. Every time.

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.
