Which one is the "real" Sipik SK68?

I bought the dx version, not sure if it's 'real' or not but it's of great quality and I love the light.

Dave

Honestly, the light I got was off of eBay so I couldn't tell you. Likely all the same or at least extremely similar.

According to the manufacturer all SK68 with CREE emitters are Q4, and it's rated for AA 1.5v (It's possible to custom order it with OSRAM emitter too, but I haven't seen any).

I dont know

I have got three of them from Focalprice recently. They have a Cree led (probably Q3 or Q4) they support a 14500 and they draw between 1200 and 1300mA.

Used to buy alot of those at DX. Current draw was around 2A from decent AA batteries.

Don't be so sure. They also say that it's HAIII and comes with SMO reflector. And it's not HAIII and zoomies doesn't has any reflector AFAIK.

You found the manufacturer site? Can you give me the link?

The one from DX works also with 14500?

Anyone modded it with different emitter (q5 or r2 for example)?

This flashlight is like Akoray 106! One million clone of the clone!

@mfm: Thanks for the link.

@Boaz: already done.. waiting for sunday draw!

From the site seems that the "real" sipik has Q4 and the one from Manafont is the only one that use this led. It's also true that has different screw on the clip (ok now i seems a mad..).

So no one try 14500 battery on it and no one mod it with different emitter or driver?

Davx, dont trust of specifications given by chinese sellers.

Has anyone actually gotten a glass lens in a 1xAA Sipik SK68/clone?

They're fairly often claimed in the specs on web pages but those are consistently wrong in many ways.

I got one of mine from here fast ship too. It says sipik on the side........

I think there are as many versions of this light as there are sellers selling it. A long time ago BLF-er VFMaddict recommended these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PCS-Adjustable-Focus-Zoom-CREE-LED-200-Lumen-Mini-Ultra-Bright-Flashlight-Torch-/330673622712?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item4cfdaf0eb8

I've bought over a dozen from this seller, all identical, all without issues. That said, my last purchase was months ago and the latest batch may be different. Also bear in mind that they are single mode. I've yet to find a seller of the 3 mode version that I could recommend because the consistency of these is hopeless.

I bought 4 from TomTop_W on Ebay and all of them have glass lenses.

Which one is this with strobe?

Can I buy it ready made from a CN/HK seller?

Slightly off topic... I picked up a couple of cheapo Sipik68 clones on eBay, but they came with different emitters. Both were described as Cree Q5.

(sorry. crappy pic but you get the idea)

I believe that the one on the left (from Toptom) is the correct one. What's the one on the right?

I'm almost positive that the one on the right is an OSRAM emitter, judging by the pronounced square in the left corner.
