HAHAHAHA! I laughed all the way through your review. Very humorous and quite tastefully done. 2.7A is quite respectable and I like the higher quality double red orings that are shared with many other high-dollar dive lights. Just keep silicon lube on them and they should last a busy season of salt-water diving. How is the beam pattern at intermediate to longer ranges?
The black wicker makes for a great high-tech looking background! Good idea, and it took a while for me to figure out what the hell it was. Thanks again for the great review.
This was funny and fun to read at the same time.
I think though the Chinese needs to ease off of abusing the name “fire” for flashlight brands. I think it should have stopped at Surefire, Trustfire, and Ultrafire.
Those three were good and sounded ok, but then came along Uniquefire, Fandyfire, Sandyfire, Pailfire, and now Uranusfire ? The only Uranusfire i know of is when i eat really spicy chilly. :weary:
Nice and throwy with an even beam. No rings. I thought I was just getting a crappy light to review, but it turned out nice. I’ll have to invent a use for it (which has nothing to do with Uranus).
Oops, forgot some little details huh? Yeah it was purchased at DX. I had a gift card and I’ve been wanting to check out the quality of Uranusfire for a while Dive lights seem expensive, it was $33.50 but it does the job. OP updated, but here is the link.
Thanks for the link.
Is this the same light Bang Good.com has? They list it as 1000 lumens having put it into an integrating sphere wth a similar twist switch at the tail. The cost with the BLF discount coupon of 10% comes to $17.08 delivered. So it would seem to be as properly driven as yours.
hehehe… bang good, uranus……fire. S)
lol, ever get that feeling your 13 again?
edit: sorry, i couldnt help myself
edit again: “we bang good long time uranus, we sell”
(im going to try and keep my juvenile self to this post)
It is $35 on KD so that looks like a good deal. The reflector on the X10 is about 40mm with a 58mm head. I don’t think the one you linked to will throw as well, but I can’t find any specs for it.
