The shop is sometimes a little bit complicated (with reservationlist, get an email, write the number of the email in a field etc.). Some people do not get the email and no paypal link.

I made two orders on christmas sale and got it and some on the new year sale. Most were perfect only the Uniqufire C108S weren’t great (some dents and every has optical production faults). Wallbuys wants to inform the supplier and I wait for the answer (until 3-4 days - this is ok).
Result: 8 good orders and 2 orders (with the C108S) waiting for a result.
I ordered two i6 for $19 and this looks like a great deal (have the tracking numbers and now the waiting begins).

In the forum itself, specifically in a non-wallbuys thread (HIDCanada's) about the VP1.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones by not experiencing the issues some others have. I’ve had good experiences with my dealings so far. I gave them some heat early about lying with fake/copied reviews. They have since removed the reviews. They also dealt with my one issue (missing strap for UF T90) very quickly by shipping it hours before going away for CNY.
I hope I didn’t come off as a shill by reviewing a couple of their products. After I did a review they wanted to send me lights for review, but that hasn’t happened so far, and I’ll be rejecting any future offers they make. I do see a lot of vendor provided items for review, so my guess was this is an OK practice if done objectively.
Anyone who believes or suspects I am was a shill for Wallbuys, please PM me so we can discuss it.
I received the PM spam as well. I didn’t report it as I didn’t clue in to what it was right away. I used PMs with Wallbuys to deal with the missing strap issue, as their website was missing an easy way to report problems with orders.
sb, since you had reached out to them to improve their practices with no apparent improvement, I agree with your decision.
Decisions like this are often not easy to make. It’s nice having an admin that stands up to protect members!

my little experience with them, i had ordered 2 Fenix diffusers and the order was fulfilled and delivered fast. packaging was commendable and everything all right so i am a satisfied customer.

Not at all! Rather, when they first came to BLF, they created several accounts and made posts pretending to be satisfied customers. They admitted as much in a “beg for forgiveness” type of thread. But it was all crocodile tears.

Glad to see this, I’ve had it with their unsavory ways.

I never did receive my very first order, a HD2011, on the Christmas Sale, but every other order was great. I got a T90, along with relic 38, 3 Small Suns, a Longire, and a couple other lights with no problem. The prices were rock bottom, and I was happy, except for never getting the HD2011, on which there was no tracking. I don’t think they were evil, just a tad naive and sneaky, more like children…just sayin…

I do not think they have a poor costumer service, the only thing poor is their english that’s all.

And I do not think they are dishonest. One order that I did not receive, they promised to refund after Chinese holiday and they refunded as they promised.

We all ordered many things at half price and they are a new company so let’s be honest!

I am just quoting myself from some another thread:

Ordered one light not on sale. It never showed up. THEY offered to send out a replacement. Then they refused to send it. When I asked them why they told me to wait longer and that they would not send a replacement. I asked for a refund and got no answer, I filed a paypal dispute, they answered via paypal and said they couldn’t refund during the dispute. At the end of the dispute time and the first day of full paypal claim they finally refunded.

They lied to me twice. They were not going to send a replacement and they could have refunded my money without dealing with paypal or during the dispute process. I never did get the flashlight, but I did get a refund.

I am not surprised to see them gone.

to see them gone. i received a broken nitecore i4 charger. they told me to take it to an appliance repair store and have it fixed! i filed a claim with paypal and got refunded. thank you sb for taking swift action!!!

What good is the ‘unmatched promotion’ when you never received the order?

What about the aggravation and wasted time you went through waiting for the order that was never meant to be shipped out?

For all the confusion and worry that I had with Wallbuys, the incredible payoffs were wonderful for me, half price Fenix lights and a $19.00 Olighti6 and all of the cheap Fenix accessories, gave me the gear that I have been craving for a couple of years and they were well worth some trouble, and they always dealt with me well in emails, showing extraordinary patience when I never could get that windows office thing to work for me.

The only actual burns (actual screwing and then told to pound sand) that I have received from retailers here, is from International Outdoor, and Banggood.com.

I have mixed feelings about Wallbuys. Their sales were a stupid, you had to jump though hoops and hope you got the stuff you ordered, which you may or may not do, looking at the last sale. Their site was a little disorganised and there was not a lot of stuff. They also indirectly caused a lot of disagreements on here (hey Brad :wink: ).

They were also a little rude to me via PM, but that may or may not have been the language barrier, not sure.

But on the up side, I ordered one of those little 18650 chargers with the fold out plug pins. It should have been $3.79 but they had it at $1.79, a mistake more than likely. I got that in a very reasonable time and it is a brilliant. I also received mt Olight i6 today, ordered it on the 19th, shipped on the 20th an it arrived today. That’s only 8/9 days. :bigsmile:

So it is a shame they couldn’t do things properly. They could have been a good little dealer.

Ok, well, just to be fair I added some “pros” based on the comments here. But the “avoid” rating stays. It is mainly based on their deplorable behavior here on BLF. Usually if a company tries so hard to get business even in dishonest and unscrupulous ways, it’s because it is incapable of doing business in the face of other better competitors.
