So I was searching Lowes and stumbled across this Hybrid Riding Mower for $2,999. Interesting. Perhaps these have already existed for awhile, but I'm not into the ATV/UTV scene. Sounds decent. Not sure if the price is reasonable or too high. I could see making use of this around my property (I couldn't justify a riding mower and a UTV separately), esp. with a snow plow. Any thoughts? Similar product at much less cost available? How much is the closest competitor?
interesting design but i’m afraid it is pure marketing hype. wouldn’t make a practical atv. i don’t think it would push much snow either. and the build quality couldn’t match a honda, yamaha, kawasaki, suzuki, arctic, polaris atv. JMO.
honda, yamaha atv’s
everride or ferris lawn mowers.
the atv’s and mowers i suggested are not low budget machines :money_mouth_face:
Especially with a non-brand name engine, I wouldn’t pay that much for it. Late last year I replaced my 14 year old Sears 17hp lawn tractor with a much better hydrostatic machine linked below and have never looked back or regreted it. One pedal works forward-reverse, so no more manual shifiting, much more comfortable, excellent turning radius, and very easy to turn steering, and much more quiet. I paid less than what it shows, but it was on sale at the time.
I just read the specs more carefully. Yep, that’s what it is alright. I’d like to see reviews of it after it’s been out for 6 months or so. If the generator is reliable, that’s a lot of power it puts out too.
