My main motivation behind ordering is more on the BLF logo rather than the light. Iā€™m very sure many of us had enough lights. I like BLF, so I ordered. Cheers! :slight_smile:

Nice that there is a BLF-edition, pity (but I would have been surprised) that it does not have different ('BLF-enhanced') features from the stock light though. I'll pass on this one, I have a nice AA twisty already.

I know someone brought up whether this light supports 14500s and the answer was yes but there could be damage done because of the extra heat generated.

The question I have is for those who might already own the light: have you used 14500s and what has been your experience?

Am I correct in assuming the only reason you would ever want to try this is that it would be a lot brighter than the 169 lumun?

Ditto. If this was a unique BLF edition with some kind of enhanced function I would buy. For now, my trusty T10 will do.

Yep. And to be frank, Iā€™ve done this with other AA or AAA lights and as long as I donā€™t keep the light on too long or use the lower modes I havenā€™t had a problem - but some do revert to direct drive when doing soā€¦
