with the amount of research and development fenix put into the tk75 i would bet a bottle of 18 year old scotch that we will see a xml2 version at some point
but that is a really great deal if you are looking for a tk75
just make sure you use paypal so you are protected… there have been varying results with DD from what i have seen over the past year
Yeah There will likely be a xml2 upgrade at some point. But that will start out retailing closer to $300 (maybe 250 street price?)… and over time that will come down… etc
I don’t think any people but the most hardcore addicted flashaholic would be at all disappointed with the current tk75.
Most of these companys that release 2nd gen lights with XM-L2 dont even raise the price. A lot actualy lower it. No way this comes in anywhere near $250. I would think it will be around $200 or so.
i would be all over this as i went back and forth over the tk75… but i have another xml2 project in the works hehe 
Too expensive of a light to buy through a shaky chinese seller. I'd personally spend a little more and get one from a company with good customer service. Preferably from a US seller..

i really like the form factor of the tk75… the idea that you can add a gozillion 18650s in parallel to make a runtime HOG really makes me like the tk75… oh yeah and its an awesome light too.
If you have a DD account, they probably gave you 200 dinopoints on your birthday. so that will again be 2 dollars cheaper.

Seems I’ve been lucky with DD so far. Got my SWM V10A from them back in 2011 and Fenix TK75 ($168) back in January, both were at what I considered good prices and were new in original packaging.
