wow. Now that is a thrower.
You can use that as your super thrower and at the same time a camping stove.
Let's wait 6 months and you can find it on DX...
His right arm probably has 3rd degree burns.
S&%t, baby, now that's I call a thrower 8)
With a 300W bulb. The battery pack must be a monster. He claims 300W for 0.75hr or 225 watt hours. Say it runs at 5A - that is s 45,000mAh pack.
Not something one is spending small money on- it says he spent 1600 euros on it. US$2258!
Crazy!
At first I thought it was shoulder fired
Do you think they would overstate the lumens?
I remember that , he also made a 1200W hmi . IIRC that arm is paralyzed from a motorcycle accident. still crazy stuff
LOL.... as he mentioned in the video, that HID puts out lots of nasty UV as well... I hope he has a great filtering lens for that beast. Otherwise he might get more than a sunburn...like that guy on CPF that intentionally looked into the beam of his handheld HID (35w?) for like 5 minutes and got a sunburn... and took a beating in that forum as well for doing it...
UV is probably from the lack of the quartz outer envelope. If I knew , I would probably make a UV HID light
That's a story he should've kept to himself.
Hi guys,
I posted in another thread the commercial version. Much cheaper and the Li-ion (yes, not SLA/NiMH) is integrated. Power up to 250W and with a 7" reflector so it will throw much better. Currently only 70W beamshots are available. I think my 250W version should be finished by this week or early next week and ship out.
wat, you ordered a 250w lightpipe!?!!!!!!

Relax, its a hobby. I'm more into HIDs than LEDs..... when i first got the Amondotech 3152 4300K 35W 6 years ago, it went downhill from then on. LOL! I got 5 HIDs (3 modded for higher power) now, it is very difficult/expensive to get past the 100W threshold.
yep, me too. I have a 75W Metal Halide hid automotive style hot restrikeable on my bike inside a Hella Micro DE fog lamp. Nice wide bright with a decently sharp cutoff. 75W HID in my 8.75" reflector spotlight, 35W ebay , 35/50W hid.

Please show your working out?
45,000mAh or 45Ah / 5A = is 9 hours isn't it?

The word for flashlight in dutch is 'zaklamp' meaning 'pocket light' we don't really have an other name for it (except in dialects) so when it doesn't fit in a pocket... :d
