Manafont rejects my return package... Problem solved!

What does removed mean?

Yes, we had a long chain of emails back and forth, and Manafont even sent me a return address via a photo.
I sent them a tracking code, but I haven’t gotten a reply from them since.

As for “removed,” I have no idea. :weary:

The reason l ask is it MF or the postal system.

I stopped buying from them a long time ago because of their lack of proper customer service, basically with a defective light you are going to get stuck with it; they could care less.

Sorry, but cut your losses and dont’ ever buy from them again; you’ll be better off, “we” don’t “need” MF and until the day they figure that out nothing will change.

The Chinese words on top of “remove” mean moving to other place.

There is possibility that it is the postal system, primarily because the address they sent me was in Chinese.

The postal office recommended that I write the address in English, but when I asked Manafont to provide me an English return address, they didn’t respond, after two emails a couple weeks apart.

I’m pretty much fed up with Manafont, as I did file a PP dispute, but PP asked me to send the package back, which I did. :weary:

Edit: Alex, any idea if this is MF’s or the post office’s fault?

Here’s the address they sent me. Does anyone see any problems with it?

Cut your losses, chalk it up to a learning experience. And not just for yourself, you're doing a service for other members as well, the benefits of which is surely greater than the cost of a 2xAAA penlight.

Fasttech never ceases to amaze me, in fact I just got a message about something I ordered being out of stock, and an offer of refund, replacement, or whatever other option I would be satisfied with. Completely of their own initiative. There's not many places that will do that.

Put your paypal on your visa card and when paypal starts to act stupid like that then you have visa not pay them ...

you had me at hello ....

.....first two words of the title of this thread said it all .....

manifold rejects

I can’t seem to find Manafont Return mail address. Maybe someone in BLF can provide manafont return address for checking.

Manafont have a PO Box in Hong Kong.

Thanks Chloe, I’m hesitant whether I should take the risk of sending it to that PO box. :Sp

I have sent one faulty item back to MF with this same address without issue. Thats why I asked. Yes I did have reservations but I had the faulty product refunded along with my postage costs. So was it MF or the postal service?

Did you also print out the address and put it on the package?

I was wondering if I needed to write it out in English.

I think that it was ridiculous that they made you send it back. I bought a TF TR-006 charger from them that arrived DOA. Unfortunately this was my first time I had a problem and had disposed of the shipping envelope when opening it. I contacted them through email and they got back saying to send them a pic of the shipping package and another pic or video showing that the charger was defective. I told them that I had disposed of the envelope and would pics of the item not working suffice? They answered back yes so I sent pics. Two more times reps contacted me saying the exact same thing. They needed packaging pics too. After about 3 conversations they finally admitted that it was defective and would send me a replacement unit. It was a bit of a hassle for sure but they never once mentioned sending it back. That would have turned me off from Manafont but because they delivered the goods I still buy from them. I am just darn careful to take a pic of every package I get in from a Chinese vendor and pray there are no problems.

All I did was copy it into I think word and print it out. It was a while ago. Yes I did have many emails with them about me paying the costs and in the end against my better judgement sent the item back to them and after awhile got a full refund and postage costs which I took as a shop credit. I’m not saying that all transactions go as well as mine but l had to ask.

I think the cheaper items that are DOA they just give you a replacement or a refund. The more expensive ones (above 15-20 bucks maybe?) they ask to send it back.

I even captured a video as well photos of it being DOA, but they still insisted that I send it back.

Maybe it was the post office, maybe MF, but due to the lack response and support from them, I don’t think I’m doing business with them again.

Maybe they can at least refund the postage paid this time?

I’m sure they’ll claim it was the post office’s fault but the postage costed only 5 bucks, so I’m just going to say that I learned my lesson the hard way. Thank you very much for your help.

Manafont is the worlds worst at taking back what they sell. I know all to well how they tried to do me on the TK35 clone light they sent me. I just ended up keeping it for it was’nt worth my trouble to send it back. Rick told me that before I tried. He was right.

I used to give manfont a lot of my business, now they hardly get any more of my business.
