Great work! Its nice to see the process more in-depth and the tools used!

But WOW! And here I was thinking I’d build something, this already makes me want to crawl under a Martian spaceship and await annihilation upon take-off.

Subscribed.

And enjoying BBC-261L immensely!

Now how silly would you feel if you didn’t make a light and I couldn’t make this work? There’s quite a bit I haven’t figured out yet and may be unable to do.

Another great build, with lots of tricky bits to figure out.

…I still think that using the drill as a ‘lathe’ is cheating…. j/k!!!

Im my view being creative is cheating, but I’m an old fool. Keep it up guys. Just thinking out aloud, an old spinning wheel could be a lathe. Is foot operated tools out off boundaries? Just kidding.

LOL, I have the parts gathered but am already stumped. So I’ll be back here at the back of the back trying to get it together day of the deadline.

No promises I’ll even get it to work, as this is a first attempt. But what the hey…

please tell me your using an aspheric lens and a blue led?

Add some fins and propellant.
Edit -Oops! Comment was meant for DBCstm’s thread.

I’m in awe, Sir. You’d get my vote in the prelims.

I’m hoping to get rid of a very large amount of propellant with no serious side effects! Ever hear a .50Cal go off? Imagine an Oxygen/Acetylene tank explosion, that what it sounds like when the neighbor touches one off next door.

Great project, and nice job on the handle. Waiting to see whats next out of your bag-o-tricks.

New pics in op.

Speechless. Your actually going to pull this comic book light off. You are a genious.

Looking great! Looking forward to seeing how you initiate the trigger into a switch and also the emitters you use. Or are you planning 3 cells to run a whopping MT-G2? Hmmmm……

woohoo!! steampunk meets starwars! fantastic build! (and it is screaming for a inbuilt laser).

That is looking fantastic!

I’m really going to have to put in some effort on mine this w/end….

Same here... He's setting the bar high early in the game... It's coming out great!

I agree but time, time, not enough time. This is one where battery capacity meter should be a must as well but too much to do and I still have the artwork.

that is just fantastic RBD, just fantastic. I really don’t have anything else to say right now!
