Just got an email from LAZERPOINT

My order for the C3 torches is still in the packing state. I decided to send them an email to confirm that they are indeed shipping the correct items. We'll see what they have to say for themselves and how long it takes them to answer if at all. They claim to respond to all email inquiries within 6 hours. Hah! I'll believe it when I see it. Anyway, here is a copy of what I sent them. Perhaps if we all do the same they will get the idea that we are on to them and no, I do NOT give them the benefit of the doubt that the incorrect items sent to How2 was a mistake.

On 5/18/2011 I purchased 4 of your Ultrafire C3 Stainless Steel flashlights (sku 3867157). I see that my order is still in the "packaging state" and wish to confirm that you are indeed sending the correct items to me. Others who took advantage of your offer have received their orders with the incorrect items included. I am concerned that you would do the same to me, as well, and accidentally or intentionally ship the incorrect item. I want you to know that anything other than sku 3867157 (Genuine UltraFire C3 CREE-Q5-WC 5 Modes 190LM 900mA White Light LED Flashlight Torch (Silver)) in quantity of 4 will not be acceptable. I will not pay the return shipment for any incorrect items that may be sent to me and nothing less than the correct items (in new, undamaged working condition) at the price I paid will be acceptable. I do not wish to involve PayPal should there be a problem but I will if necessary.

I state the above to avoid you having to pay extra shipping to resolve any problems with the incorrect items being sent. I am aware that the price on sku 3867157 has gone up considerably since I have placed my order but that does not mean that you do not have to honor the original price as sold to me and to others in my circles. I hope to be able to do further business with you in the future if all goes well.

Please contact me to confirm that the correct items are indeed being shipped to me along with an estimate on how much longer until they are shipped as it has been a week already since I placed my order. Below is a copy of my original order.

Hah! Thanks! I tried to be as clear as possible so there would be little chance of misunderstanding but it will probably be jibberish to them anyway. I wonder what Google translator will reword it to when they convert it from ENglish to Chinese…LOL.

Anywho...since yours was shipped out the first day I'm betting you will get the correct light. I think that when they realized what they were shipping out and the price it was shipping out for they wised up and put a halt on further shipments until they figured out how they were going to wiggle out of their own trap.

The problem is that Boaz received the wrong light way before this special offer. I am a bit pessimistic now, that anyone will receive the ordered light.

I will insist. If nothing else it did not cost me a dime but anyway i would still love to get those.

Like I said i really wish i was the only on who was getting the shaft on this deal .I'd feel much beter knowing you all got what you ordered even if I didn't ..BUT we are at 60 days of them knowing this was the wrong light and they obviously are still sending out the wrong one. Im my estimation they are doing it either on purpose or out of massive ignorance .. neither is acceptable .. good luck I'm kicking this up to claim and we'll see what paypal thinks about a company who gives the shaft to numbers of people ..I really held off posting on this thread because I didn't want to tempt anyone else into taking a chance on these lights ..clearly these guys aren't delivering on their part of the deal .

There you have it. Take it any way you like. Needless to say I responded to them stating that I would give them the extra time as long as they are promising to send me the correct items.

I hope that they honour their word, I ordered mine on 05/18/2011 and the status still shows packing, Not yet shipped.

It's encouraging that they responded to JohnnyMac's email. But I'm also prepared for the worst. I have to admit that I don't quite have the fire in my belly with this one since the deal seemed too good to be true, right from the start.

Got the 3x pos 2AAA 12 led flashlights. Filed a dispute to PP immediately. :/

I dont understand what they achieve by sending the wrong lights. I mean they will have to return all the money + pay for the shipping of the wrong lights + I get to keep the wrong lights... Doesnt make sense to me... They could just return the money right away without sending wrong flaslights and save some reputation (not that they have any left).

Sounds like a scam and they hope some people won't file with paypal.

Have you considered that they made a mistake and don't care enough to correct it?

WTF? Even if they are figuring they would lose even more money by sending the right lights, why send any at all? It just makes no sense to me. I just checked my order status and while it had been in "packing" status when I emailed them, it is now gone backward a step to "checking" status. Not sure what means but am hoping someone there thought twice about sending me the 12-led lights and is reading the order correctly. I doubt it but am still hoping so as to avoid all this hassle. :(

My order also changed from packing to checking, I e-mailed them just know to inform them that I will not accept wrong items.

All I can think is they had something wrong in their computer system where they had this UV p.o.s. under both product numbers and haven't figured it out on their own yet. I agree there is no way you can make money by shipping people the wrong items. Better to cancel the orders as some of the other places have done when they realized they had an unmeetable price posted.

It’s been over 6 hours since you emailed them. Have you heard anything back from them? They promise to reply within 6 hrs.

No answer yet, but I think it still is dawn in China.

I just got one 12 led aaa flashlight. Blasted.

I will also inform the company of my dissatisaction and file a paypal dispute immediately. I will not out of my funds cover the cost of returning the item (cheap piece of junk). It would cost more than I already paid for it and it's not my error. Their policy (on the website) is to return it so we will see what happens.
