The King is dead? Long live the Warrior!!

Contact cherry and she will give you a refund if you like. This happened to me on the skyray 4x a couple weeks ago. She wouldnt give me the discount via refund…not even store credit. So I asked for a full refund. You know…get it at the cheapest price or not type a purchase.

So basically, she said they can’t offer discounts on sale or reduced items any longer.

I tried letting her know about the glitch we both experienced but its as if she didn’t understand. She said her “programmers” couldn’t replicate it.

Lemme know how it turns out if you go for a discount. Let her know FT is $2.00 cheaper after their discount. lol

Haha. Great minds think alike.. I already emailed sales@wb, explaining the case and said: "Would you please fix the price for me? If that's not possible, please cancel my order."

Let's see what they answer - if they answer at all. ;)

What's cherry's contact info?

Wow would I be nuts to order the YL-U2 I still am waiting to receive my Fandyfire version of the King. I kind of wish I had waited for this YL-U2!! I do wish the buttons were a little sleeker but that’s not a deal breaker for me.

I wonder how accurate the led display for the battery power is?

Button caps can be easily replaced.

Very cool! Anxiously awaiting feedback and a review!

Has anyone who ordered one from FT had any status update other than "Payment received"? Mine isn't even at the "Packaging" stage yet. I figured being one of the very first to order this light it would ship out within 24 hours. :( Today is going into day 4 and no update.

I like this one better than the YL-U2:

SolarStorm SP03
It has 3x XM-L2 and an impressive 150mm reflector. I like the battery configuration and it really looks like a good piece for modding/swapping driver.

What do you think guys?

Are you kidding? The SP03 is WAY more awesome than the YL-U2! I will be doing a review on mine very soon.

But will it be more than twice as awesome in every way?

the, her email is service@. Shes the only one that has responded with that email address.
Good luck.

Thanks!

I got a reply from sales@ telling that the coupon can't be used with discounted items. However, when I provided the evidence that cart did show the wrong price, they gave me two alternatives: cancel the order or accept a free battery for compensation. I turned down the battery offer, but gave a counter offer of Olight S10/20 diffuser => They agreed to add that to my order, free of charge. Obviously a monetary compensation would be very difficult for them and, on the other hand, sending out goods is easier.

After all, they provided quick & good customer service (I was actually amazed!), so: I'm a happy camper, again. :)

I finally got my shipping notice and tracking number this morning.

Mine shipped today from WB. It’s a race across the pond!

Pretty sure it’s an 85mm bezel, so the reflector is around 70mm I’d guess. 150mm is the length.

yes… if the reflector is 150mm, the lenght should be 40cm or so… impressive light, for sure

Specs say it is 85mm head, 77mm reflector & 110mm wide counting the handle

Damn, I was really hoping the larger switch was a "master" clicky switch, and the smaller switch was momentary for changing modes. Unscrewing the body slightly on the SRK to prevent battery drain is kind of hokey to me.

Isn't that what it is???

The UI says to press and hold the large button to turn on/off, or maybe just to turn off? Either way, it's an electronic/momentary switch :(

Big button 1sec to go to first mode, second click to high mode.

Small switch is momentary on, High, release it and it's off.

Threads are anodized and therefore a twist to the head and it's a lock out.

When in 1st mode, you can use the smallest button to let the light start ramping, and stop at your desired output.

This will memorize the setting.

That's how it worked with my L3, so I guess it's the same.

Low PWM.
