Mine says “Collection” also… On USPS.com it’s still not working.
Despite everything that’s been said, I have a feeling that my light has still not been physically handed over to their local China post post office, i.e., they got a tracking number from China post, but now they actually have to hand the package off to China post.
U.S.P.S. works like that. I can go online and get a tracking number, but that number will show as not working until I actually go to the post office and hand the package over to the U.S.P.S. worker and he scans the label with the tracking number. THEN the website shows something like “Acceptance”.
They seem to be. They say they did not make no profit on this, but I imagine they had to make something. On top of that, they will get all sorts of advertising from it.
They should have named it something other then m6 upraded version though, as when you search for it you get a lot of king look a likes. I am hoping they work with us for future improvements and suggestions
Even if they don't make much on this, or even lose a little, they are gaining a lot in marketing. At least a couple of reviews will result from this GB, and assuming the lights are good, they will end up as a viable, good option versus the now infamous SRKs. They can easily end up selling this light in the future for $50+ or higher in the future as a direct result.
I'm surprised more companies don't participate in GB's.
Yah, I would have looked at the whole deal as advertising by word of mouth from a bunch of flashaholics just about the best you could get rather than an immediate money making opportunity.
My order tracking via ChinaPost says…” No Data Availlable”, but tracking via CanadaPost says “International item mailed in origin country, 528032,China”
