Would our Asian members offer any feedback/background on this interesting drink?
30 year old Aberlour.
The old Aberlours - as long as they got matured in sherry casks are among the best (As in they beat the very slightly younger MacAllans) - the bourbon casks (By Federal law bourbon has to be matured in new casks) come out of sick cats.
Also one of the best distillery tours going. Charlestown of Aberlour is about 120km from here. Across a few mountains.
Plain old water, or once a day a Coke. Haven't had an alcoholic beverage since 1975.

The Coke is probably worse for your health than an alcoholic drink would be... Personally, I drank my last soda/pop in 1995 or thereabouts..

Don't do fizzy stuff. don't like sweet liquids. But a lot better for you than my choices!
Me, it's water, coffee or unhealthy stuff.

+1 on the Aberlour. Just finished a bottle of single cask. Probably the smoothest whiskey I have ever had, and it was 64% (128 proof) alcohol!!! (undiluted cask strength). Haven’t seen it in the LCBO since, but I will be on the lookout for it.
out of a bidet…….funny.

Nothing at the moment, but will make myself an instant coffee soon....
