Kickstarter - Ti2 Para-Biner

They aren’t rated for climbing, but thought some might like them anyway:

What do you think?

I think that’s pretty neat, especially the integrated pulley assembly! I can’t say I could think of a whole lot of uses for that but it’s pretty cool nontheless. The hex bit holder in the gate is clever.

Ranging from $43-125 each is a bit steep, I think.

Wonder what dino-chan thinks of them.

Also, imperial spanner sizes. What a fail.

I thought they offer them in imperial or metric…

It has a bottle opener on it. Scroll down on the page to see it in action.

The problem with these types of multitools is that you can't generate a lot of torque when you're using them with nuts or bolts . They may be designed to do many things , but do none of them well .

The pulley thing is original , though .

Boy am I glad they showed us how to use the bottle opener. I just couldn't figure it out.

I agree. They all look really uncomfortable to use if you try to grip them too hard! Or have bits that will snag on fabric (or skin! :ghost: ).

That said, I don’t think they’re supposed to replace any tool, just that someone might find it useful in an emergency if they had it on their keys or person already.

I’ll wait for the Cheaper versions to appear, I like the ones with the pulleys - stringing 2 or 3 together could be interesting.
