Not so lucky for me. Fast tech dropped me 2 emails ticket on my past 2 orders of 6 x 18650 and mentioned that they would be refunding me the money due to returned packages to them.
Thank you for ordering from FastTech.
As you know your order was shipped via China Post to reduce the chance of them getting returned. But we’ve been informed by China Post on 9/20 that all packages containing batteries are not allowed to ship and they arranged the return on 9/21. Now all packages have been returned to us due to this new policy of China Post.
We’re going to cancel the orders and issue the full refunds within 24~48 hours, it’s Sunday here, so please allow us a little bit time to process the refunds. PayPal will send a confirmation e-mail once the refund is done.
Hong Kong Post just confirmed to us that only lithium batteries are being classified into contraband goods. If you didn’t purchase any lithium batteries in your order, you can place a new order after the refund. But please aware that it might still has the delay problem as Hong Kong Post still scanning the packages one by one. Sorry for not being able to arrange the re-shipment for the orders that excluding any lithium batteries, because there were too many orders being affected. Your understanding would be highly appreciated.
We apologize for the delay and any inconveniences caused.
Just be patient my dear friends…it’s just a hot topic now but our Chinese vendors will always find a way to ship them when the heat is off. We’ve been through this before, right? Relax
“Both crew members were killed when the 747-44AF crashed on Sept. 3, 2010, near Dubai.”
What will happen is that they will alter the planes to make the crew and plane safe if a fire does start.
And that will increase the cost of transport, and guess who will pay that extra, for me it will be money well spent.
If this is really the concern, it's easily remedied by individually packaging cells in zip lock baggies. They might still have inspections to make sure vendors are shipping batteries properly, but at least batteries would get through.

About Battery
Now even Singapore Post can not ship the pure battery, then we have to stop selling batteries
but Singapore Post said if the battery is in the flashlight, then that is available, so if you really need battery, you can choose SKU9839 and send me a email, we will put battery into flashlight.
we will try our best to solve this shipping problem asap
Well heck. I ordered 8 panasonics from Fastech a week ago. They have shipped but they are sitting in Hong Kong as of 4 days ago. No email from Fastech. Not sure what that means for me. Will my batteries by returned, go through, or destroyed? Buying batteries is starting to getting annoying. I lost $65 on a battery purchase from Bob a year ago when he apparently disappeared. If I loose these too, I will not be a very happy camper
A long time ago I bought some NCRA batteries from aliexpress seller and interesting thing was that they were shipped from Sweden! or via Sweden PO in Singapore if there is something like that!!! Either way tracking number was in RE………SE format and indicated as it was shipped from Sweden!
If you are from EU maybe this can help you get some batteries, this seller has many types of Panasonic and Sanyo cells but, just to warn you, his prices are no match for FastTech, for example 4 pcs of NCR18650B protected are $35.20 so that would be $8.80 per cell while FT sells them at $8.065 per cell.
So, if someone is interested I can pass the link…
Yes I used PayPal for the purchase with Bob a year ago. BUT was stupid and did it as a gift as per his requests. However I had previously purchased perhaps 4 times with him, I didn’t expect it to become issue. He was a an outstanding guy - just got badly sick and has disappeared.
It’s not shipped from Sweden. “Direct Link” is a postal service from Asia to the rest of the world, just like everything people get shipped using Singapore Post isn’t shipped from Singapore but actually shipped from Shenzhen or Hong Kong.
