Olight M22 Warrior- Review

Awesome review and photography. Thank you for taking the time to do this for all of us.

Thank you!
I love to make reviews of this type. This is the best way to enjoy my hobbies-flashlights and photography. 8)

Wow FlashLion amazing pictures & amazing light ! I just wish it could tail stand.

I’m still totally blown away by the animated GIF’s and would love it if you could PM me with some details on how you accomplished that! Awesome work! One of the most complete photo reviews I’ve ever seen with some highly innovative displays.

Great job!

Outstanding review and graphics !! Very professional.

Thanks for doing these. :crown:

Thank you guys for your comments! 8)

DBCstm, this particular animated GIF contains 85 still images taken one by one.

:open_mouth:

Thanks for your efforts!

Btw, your pics have an artistic value, you can also upload them to dA

I know, I counted 81 of em, and I know full well what it takes in effort and time to do that. You do indeed have a creative talent, and you’re good at putting it together. I hope to see more reviews from you and also hope to emulate that animated GIF myself.

Not sure how you managed some of the parts, like activating the light without it showing in the animation, but I’ll figure it out.

Thank you, again, for your dedication and hard work!

(I have taken stacked macro images with that many individual images, in the end merged into a single shot, it’s time consuming taking them, and even more time consuming in the computer putting everything together!)

Check out the animation in my Jetbeam review. It was a great challenge.
I can make this GIFs look much better, but there is a limit of 5mb file size on the site which I use for image host.If you can recommend me a site with higher limit will be great.
The way I take pictures does not require using photo stacking,so there’s only one picture with two stacked images. The picture that shows the stainless steel bezel.
Thanks
It’s nice to comment here about photography.

The pics to compare tell the tale. Love it. It may be my next purchase.

Nice review!!

I am getting mine Monday. I am sure I will like it. This will be my 4th light in this output range.[830 to 960 lumens]. Jetbeam BC-40, TK-35, EA4 and now the M22!! I justify it as similar output but different UI’s, sizes and battery types!

It will also be light #18 in 11 months!! :open_mouth: Flashaholic anniv. is November 24th!

However, sometimes I ask myself, “Why do I keep buying lights”? No matter what the answer is at the time,I buy them anyway!!!

It really boils down to “Wants vs. Needs”!! I don’t NEED it but I WANT it! J)

I think that applies to just about everybody on here, at least all the TRUE flashaholics!!

The lights are never enough. It’s always good to try something new.
I am sure you will like M22. Check out also Lumintop TD16,if you like flashlights with this form.

Absolutely sir!!

I checked out the Lumintop, very similar to the M22 I am getting tomorrow.

I am looking forward to comparing the M22 to the Fenix TK-35. I realize that the M22 only uses 1X18650 while the TK-75 uses 2X18650.

However, the output is similar. The TK-35 does have 5744 more cd, max lumens are about the same according to SB’S review [860].

One difference is the TK-35 has 25 minute “Timed” step downs where I step back up again and it can maintain[direct current/constant brightness] the 860 lumens for the duration of the battery charge! I am a turbo freak as you can tell!

I am starting to enjoy these mid ranged lights more, where I do not need to use my TK-75 or BST to walk the Siberian in the semi wilderness!!

nice review thanks! ordered the M22 after looking at various other lights in this class…I love the 3 tap to strobe option as I will be using this as a work light and need strobe in emergencies…this is my first light purchase in over 13-14 months…

What a beautiful light. I have been eyeing this light for some time now just not sure if I should spend that much with my bad economy. :weary:

harry I got mine off ebay from luxshophk…it was a good price and very fast shipping…if you can afford it you can’t go wrong with the light…been using mine as a duty belt light for a couple months now and it’s awesome…lots of light, decent throw, hidden strobe…it’s a very good duty light…

I bought my S10 L2 from the same seller last month . $34 and only 5 days shipping. I thought about M22 at first but the light I really need as EDC should be smaller and S10 fit the description at half the price. Now I wish I ordered the M22 too. Maybe next month.

I also would like to get one!

@Wolfdog what brand do you like the most of those 4?

Very good pictures!
I would like to have one like this.

Nice little light. Great review. For the record, I have two P60 style light engines that produce 1100 lumens on a single cell and 1600 lumens with two cells. Just saying.
