LED Lights for Vanities

Because LED Lights consume less energy than other types of lights, I am curious about using it for the vanity as well as other parts of the house. Would it cast a nice glow when used for the vanity?

I think it would be perfect for that situation. With low power consumption you could leave it on and not feel as guilty. Get one that suits your likes as in: cold white, white, warm white etc. The other thing to consider is if you want: a spot-light (which makes things sparkle) or a soft diffused light. That’s where this form is handy as others can make specific suggestions based on purchases.

For example, if i am building a vanity for a make-up artist in her office, would you suggest that I purchase spotlights, diffusers, or what other options do I have? More importantly, would it be better to buy all these to have different options? For home vanities, what would be the best type of LED lights to use?

I also think an LED bulb would be perfect. It seems that most of them tend toward being more spot and less flood.

I have the same question , I been considering to purchase some 12v for home lighting also for fish tank lighting

Might work with small tanks - but you need a lot of power with larger ones. Beware of the spectral distribution too.

Aaah yeah. probably too soft for fish tanks. wouldnt it be cool to line your tank with led lights that come in those water proof tube thingies though? Kind of like an uplight for the fishtank.hahaha. i know it may not be possible, but it might look cute

i don't think so, Energy saving and environment protection, LED lights is a good choice!
