It looks nice, but the quality of mine isn’t very good. Its liner lock is thin and relatively weak, and the blade won’t stay completely closed even if I simply turn it upside-down. I can open it with the gentle-est flick of my wrist, but at least it stays open. There is a bit of a painting/anodizing error at the tip of the blade, and the blade is labelled “CRKT” (hah). But what I got may be only a cheap copy, despite having a slightly higher price than the Rimei one. In any case, it’s nowhere near as nice as my SRM or Enlan or even Tekut knives.
So, it gets used only to open mail. For that, it’s not bad.
A new knives brand is available. I have never heard something about the company and the knives aren't available in many places. It called Omuda. All should be made of 440C stainless steel and come in colored box with a window - not only in a white box.
This three are the only one, which looks a little bit more interesting for me.
More intersting for me is the Omuda 3912 with a85mm tanto blade and a clip. $9,05. My link - non aff-link
A fixed blade with the name CT343. It looks like the Colt CT343 but without the brand and the horse on the handle. Maybe it is photoshopped like the Ganzo knives a few days ago. Blade length: 95mm, blade steel: 8Cr13MoV. Open length 199 mm, product weight 199 g, thickness 3.8 mm. $10,76. The Colt CT343 is sold on aliexpress or ebay for $18-20. My link - non aff-link
I quite fancy one of these boot knives . It’s probably soft 5-7Cr13MoV but reminds me a little of the Gerber Guardian. Do I really need another letter opener though? :weary:
You know you do!
It says 440C steel with a hardness of 56HRC, for $6 ~ £3.80 can’t be all bad can it?
As far as the Rimei brand goes I have this one and it’s a right finger clipper if you let it be - Very Strong Backspring Indeed.
I have just ordered this. Good at the price.
The surprise for me was the quality of this BaZo. good, as good as my Spyderco Grasshopper and easier to open and close.
This little one again from BaZo has metal scales I was expecting plastic, for the price it’s quite usable and not much more than 2mm thick or maybe that should be thin.
Maybe if I think of it as a toy knife it won’t bother me so much. Although being a dagger shape I will be tempted to see how well it throws!
