Received my package today, Thanks!

The 20R’s and drivers were packaged nicely, no problems what so ever. Really appreciate it and already have a driver stacked and installed.

Nice deal!

Question... do you know at what point the protection circuit would trip on the 18650PF Protected batteries? The usual 5A?

That’s a good question. My SRK pulls over 7.5 amps from four cells. Let me get a PF charged up and I’ll see whether it trips and if not what current it allows.

Thanks for checking!

This is a good deal.

order placed!

My FT order was returned to sender. All battery orders will just have to be done local.

Better off.

Thanks!

I just tested with my SRK. It pulls around 7.9 amps from the single cell for 2-3 seconds before the circuit cuts power. It seems to reset itself after a few seconds. I repeated this test several times with similar results. I don’t know where the actual cutoff point is, but it is below 7.9 amps. I also know now that this cell can put out a lot of power even with the protection circuit; i.e. the protection circuit isn’t adding much resistance.

Nice, order incoming for the unprotected though :)

Now just need to decide if I can afford 8, or if 4 will do.

How much shipping for 10 x Qlites to Canada. (Regular post)

Thanks for the 5% OFF offer. I just ordered 10 Qlite’s. I go through these like crazy, and its so nice to be able to order from a local supplier.

Your service to add additional 7135’s is a great idea for those who arent able to add their own, and very reasonable considering the hassle for you to solder them on. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors.

Thanks for the support everyone! We have a few international orders (batteries and drivers) in the mail to various countries. If everything goes well with them, international shipping will be more available going forward.

Got my 20Rs, and man, I figured they'd be about equal to my INR 15Qs just with a li'l more capacity, but LOL no. Single 20R single XML2 direct drive = 5.5-5.8 amps? Wut? :O

1 Single Sam20R, 1 XM-L U2 on a SinkPAD = 8.48A direct drive. I don’t have an XM-L2 on a board handy to hook up.

Edit: Ah, but I DID have an XM-L2 on a star, 7.05 and climbing when the smoke started

Quick announcements:
Thank you for all of your support! This past week has been very busy for us.

  • The Efest cells are here! (10440, 16340, 18350) They will be available for sale later tonight or tomorrow morning.
  • LG ICR18650D1 are coming soon!

As always, we are looking for ways to better serve you.
I have a few questions for all of you:

1. Cases. Do you care about them? Would you rather have them be an “add on” rather than included? It would decrease the price per cell by around $0.20 if they were an “add on” vs. included in the price.

2. Shipping. I am planning on going to a weight based system, the minimum rate will be $1.89, with a maximum rate of $5.35. Prices will be adjusted so that they will be roughly the same for buying a single item (even in bulk), but if you want to mix and match different cells your order will end up being less expensive than the current system. Does this sound good to you?

3. Ordering format. I have a webstore up and running now which will be able to automatically calculate the shipping by weight and will allow you to pay directly via PayPal at checkout vs. the current invoice system. Quantity discounts will still be available. This will be ready to take orders this weekend. I want to offer two of you a 7% off coupon to the store if you would be willing to test the store by placing an actual order tomorrow afternoon and then sending me a message about any comments or potential issues you had. PM me if you are interested in doing this, the first two to PM me will get the offer. NO SPOTS AVAILABLE.

Thanks!
Richard

Great news on the Efest and LGs!!!

I’m not a fan of add-on shipping, but it’s your business, not mine.

Cases…I like’em and don’t have nearly enough. I’d pay the extra $.20.

Can’t wait to buy some LG D1’s from you!

I like the lower prices and shipping according to what I buy.

I also don’t need the cases, bought a case for 12ga shot shells that holds 50 and another that holds 25, don’t reckon I’ll be needing the little cases for a while.

Daniel likes playing with em though, or enjoys tearing them up, or whatever…he enjoys the little boxes all the same.

Where do you get these shell cases, Dale?

The 50 count case is this one for $10.94 + shipping (shipping is crazy low, these are made in Ohio!) and the 25 count box is this one , at an unbelievable $4.28!!. Perfect size for 18650’s, I’ve got all the way down to 14500’s in mine.

What a cool idea! thanks for sharing. I am going to order a few of those myself.
